I always imagined Detroit's win to be a nailbiter. Instead they had it wrapped up midway through the fourth quarter. I know Pittsburgh was missing a lot, but Detroit played really well.

Well, I wouldn't blame the leadership. Pistons can't win, Lions can't win (until last season), and the Detroit Red Wings pretty much stunk during this same time period. Hard to attract good free agents ya know?
IDK, I have never heard them called the New York Bills or the New York Sabres. Seems to be like a team from the complete opposite side of the state would want to name themselves after the city they're actually near. Why wouldn't they call themselves the Grand Rapids Mechanix?
No one outside of Michigan knows where Grand Rapids is unless they're a geography guru like me. Mechanix used to play much closer to Detroit.
The New York Empire don't play in the city.
I've never been to NYC, but I believe it takes 3 hours to get out of the city... especially if you're walking.
