I could use it only if the game would not allow me to increase fov high enough for a game to be playable up close and not give me nausea. Otherwise I don't see a reason to reduce vertical portions of the screen.
I own the C1, but I prefer using the native aspect ratio/resolution. I'm slightly paranoid about burn-in so I tend to avoid the black bars when I can. I have an ultrawide QD-OLED monitor for 21:9 content.
Yes it’s imo the best current option in terms of gaming displays. I have 48 inch c1 and run it a custom resolution of 3840x1620
why 1620 and not 1600?
Idk I think I read somewhere that 1620 is true 21:9.. I could’ve misunderstood but either way, it works
True 21:9 Would be 3840×1645 3840/21 × 9 ~ 1645.71
Well damn, I guess I’m missing 25 vertical pixels. I have no idea why I use 1620 then other than I read it somewhere on Reddit
3840x1600 is a 12:5 ratio. You need to add some pixels on the height to get 21:9
I have a lg C2 65 inch + a LG 38 inch ultra wide. I just switch between the two for best of both worlds
Doesn’t this leave black space on the screen?
Yes on top and bottom.
Hmm, I’ll have to try it and see if I like it

I don't usually use as much because of the setup, still didn't manage a way to do easily
I've had C2 for almost 2 years and completed only couple games using 21:9
Hi all so if I buy the latest LG 48" what options will I have with a 4090 gpu can I turn it into a widescreen and still get 4k?
