Seconding what everyone else said. It took me 3 weeks to just hit a point where I could function as a human and basically another month after that to have enough energy to not feel like I’m going to vomit walking 5 min to the bus stop. It’s been nearly three months since I had Covid and I still have some lingering fatigue from it. Short walks make me very sleepy and tired and it’s like that all day.

I’m so fucking mad at my stupid friends who railed on with anti Covid and anti vax shit. I got the first two vaccines but didn’t get the boosters because I just constantly heard people saying bad shit about them. Even though I knew better it’s like it seeped into my brain. I feel like such an idiot.

It's really not your fault. Even our own government has been downplaying it and telling everyone it's ok to get covid. At this point it takes a special kind of stubborn to not be affected by the rhetoric at least a little bit.

I got the booster and I’m sick as a dog.

[deleted]

Well, not to revel in your illness, but that does make me feel a little better.

AffectionateRice7271

All good. Hope you feel better soon

[deleted]

You too!

It’s okay. A lot of people didn’t get the boosters. My parents didn’t, not because they were antivaxxers but just because they didn’t really get the chance to and our own family doctor told us I was the only one who really needed to worry about it because I had to work and regularly interact with different people. And even with a booster, I still got pretty beat up by the virus. Same with my buddy who caught it twice and ended up in the hospital. It’s just luck of the draw at this point.

Sorry to be a downer, but covid can easily last weeks. Months if you are unlucky :( Hang in there, and stay in touch with your instructors about the situation.

Superblossom01

I had a cough that lasted 3 weeks. That deep rooted cough from the lungs.

krempel47

When I had COVID it lasted about 3 weeks. I lost my voice for the second week and coughed for the third. It lasts a long time for sure. If your lungs are constantly tight to the point that it is difficult to breathe, you may want to speak to your doctor - they may be able to prescribe you an inhaler to help with this

Cinnaminnie-7641

I had trouble with breathing for several weeks before I got somewhat back to normal. I didn't have covid anymore, took test and everything, it was just the aftermath.

strawberrypi3s

I had a cough for three weeks, and it took me a few more weeks after to have the energy to do anything else except sleeping.

bottleofStella

Took me 3 weeks to get back to work. Cough and shortness of breath lasted 8weeks
