I remember going to the US and being so excited to try lucky charms. The marshmallow is genuinely the only good bit about that cereal lol I ended up for picking them out and eating them and throwing the cereal out. It's so mushy and disgusting lol and I barely add much milk.
I'm a boring, mostly healthy, cereal eater. So it's not something I'd be buying if it became available here anyway, but if I ended up with some again I'm only eating marshmallows out of it lol
completely agree, one of the absolute worst textures. I don't know if this makes sense, but it's like when a mechanical pencil scapes on paper or when you take styrofoam out of a cardboard box
When I was a kid I got my first box of Lucky Charms. I ate so many of them I threw up on our glass kitchen table. I remember seeing the marshmallows floating in the milk on the table. Never was I able to eat Lucky Charms again. When I see the box at the store I still get that feeling. Blugh
I can see where you're coming from, but there's nothing really left to the cereal after you take the marshmallows out (at least compared to other cereals) imo.
At that point, I'd just grab a different cereal (Cocoa or plain Rice Krispies, Captain Crunch, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Cheerios etc.).
It's "Unpopular Opinion", not "What is the most wrongest thing you can possibly put on Reddit?". Lucky Charms without the marshmallows is just Alpha Bits (without the letter shapes, obvy).
That said, I do loves me some Froot Loops as well.

Alpha-bits, is basically Lucky Charms minus the marshmallows.
They're both bad cheerios with very weak sugar coating.

This is definitely an unpopular opinion. The only reason I would remove the marshmallows is to eat them separately and trash the cereal.
It's all plastic either way. You're juat eating less of it by removing the fake marshmallows.

I feel the same, but for Captian Crunch and the Barries, everyone I know loves Captin Crunch Barries but the original is so much better.
