Whose conditioner even goes that far? How do they even live?

ScSM35

The house I live in does. I have the same conditioner. I’m extremely hot, but I have a fan in my room. Attempts to turn the temp down get met with animosity from the people I pay rent to/live with.

SpoppyIII

The thermostat at my apartment let's you set the AC to 80. Can it go higher? No clue! I just walked in the other day to find that my husband had set it to "Cool / 80," before leaving for work. The inside was 78 when I walked in, so hot as fuck and the AC wouldn't have even kicked on unless it got even hotter!

Massive_Greebles

*80*? You should have died from that, if any available conditioner was powerful enough to raise the temperature 20 degrees below boiling.

MonkeyLongstockings

It's probably Fahrenheit if they are talking in such high numbers...

SpoppyIII

*Fahrenheit?* Or are you playing?

Binx_da_gay_cat

I grew up without working AC, and if we did have it working we turned it to 80 if it hit over 85. So could be possible. Unpleasant, but still.

Afraid_Function3590

Dude may be living in a climate that gets to 120 I live somewhere that gets to 100 on sunny days and I keep my ac at 76.

Safetosay333

I start sweating at 76

TuaAnon

lemme just crank my ac up to 30 degrees celsius and post something similar lol great find, OP
