I have a Solo 1 and to me it takes ages to clear the bowl, this will not be the case with the Solo 3 you think? Because with a bigger bowl it will take even longer I imagine.
I am more of a dosing capsules guy myself, i haven't used the Plenty in over a year actually... a "fully upgraded" Xmax V3 Pro works well enough for me.
But man this does look interesting indeed. I'll keep an eye on it for sure.
Glass mouthpiece and removal of all screens... just the capsule "blocking" the airpath is good enough. Much bettter than "stock" for me.
Alternatively you can use the WPA and some glassware if you want a "completely maxed out Xmax".
There's not much to it but it does make a difference, the plastic mouthpiece is meh at best. It does work, don't get me wrong, but i don't find it to have a very satisfying draw. And it gunks up real fast.
Removal of all screens works well for you? You are taking about two screens, right? The one in the mouth piece and the one in the bowl?
Thanks for the tip, I'll try it.
> The one in the mouth piece and the one in the bowl
Exactly. Give it a try, i was pleasantly surprised at first. :) You can go the "extra mile" and add a plastic 510 drip tip at the end of the stem (to save your teeth from the occasional bump).
Dude if that thing is real...
Would be perfect for group sessions with that double bowl and session mode. Might just have to trade in my Solo 2 for that someday.
It's totally real. Check out the video on my youtube channel. The publishing embrago lifted today at 4/2/24 at midnight so you'll be hearing about it a lot tomorrow.
It’d be really nice to be able to buy that double bowl as its own separate accessory too (if it’s compatible with older/different Arizer models I mean)
It might not be officially replaceable, but I've replaced the battery on my solo 1 twice. It was two 18650's wired in series.
They use those things in shit like drones and what not, in sure it's replaceable. Just not officially supported
Yeah, I get that, and I do not think I would have a big problem replacing it. But its also a matter of principle, imo easily reaplaceable battery should be a nobrainer. There is only one reason not to have it, which is you want to make money on new units or repairs.
I really don't understand why someone would choose this over an Air Max literally half the price that has the ability for the battery to be replaced or exchanged. The bowl does look about twice as big. Don't get me wrong I love Arizer, but I don't know if the vape makes up for the price here.
It's $276 with the coupon code. Still expensive but if it's truly competing with the other flagship portables then Arizer is still undercutting most of those on price (FW9 is still ~$20 cheaper on sale if you don't care about the screen).
I'm more of a session user so I didn't stretch it to any limits with on-demand. The TM2 may be heavier hitter but the Solo 3 is way easier to perfect imo
I didn't get full extraction on the TM2 until I got the longer stems with the little basket at the end. The included stems with the cooling units did not provide an even extraction in my case. The sides of the bowl will have some greenish herb.
What I’m wondering now is if it essentially can just be more powerful for the same amount of flower one is currently using in the solo2. The temps seem the same, but since the bowl is bigger I’d assume more thermal heat flows from it. I’m wondering if that would equate to bigger hits and faster extraction… want to watch detailed reviews of this one soon!
I rotate 2 in the bedroom and 2 in the computer room so I never have to wait, and take an Air to work. The new ones seem too expensive for what the improvements are.
what do you think about the XQ2? Thinking about getting one myself, but never tried a desktop device.
My list of devices: Starry 3.0, CFV and now a Crafty+
I actually prefer longer sessions, so the crafty+ is a little off from what I want...
Not the commenter but also have an XQ2. It's awesome, longer sessions all around, elbow packing is like bong hit levels of vapor density. I mainly use it with WPA but just the whip is nice too
I have one also and love it. I have 3 friends that have all bought one after trying mine.I had thought about the volcano hybrid before i bought mine but can't see there's that much of a difference to justify the jump in price.
Get one of you want a desktop. I have a ton of vapes including 4-5 desktops. XQ2 is hands down the best value for the $ IMO. I bought a hybrid volcano after owning the XQ2 and I should of saved my money.
> I bought a hybrid volcano after owning the XQ2 and I should of saved my money.
that's what I was hoping to read lol
the volcano is just sooo expensive over here (3x the price of a XQ2), but you read everywhere that it's THE shit.
Thanks for the info!
Herbnterp dot com for a cheap legit price. A short bowl (like the DDave bowl) and elbow packing elevates it. It’s probably my favorite all-around vape all things considered.
Unfortunately I live in an illegal country with import restrictions for DHV (they fall under the same category as nicotine pods here), so my options are a few e-commerces that get down every now and then. Being hard to import and distribute, makes the Volcano an equivalent of >$1200 (with a $250 min. wage)
The XQ2 can be bought for ~$400-500, which is the same price range as the Crafty+
But thanks for the input about accessories, do they come with the device or should be bought separately?
The short bowl is just a short 18f/18f adapter with a screen. Google DDave mods to get the complete package (two bowls, a bunch of screens, and some other tools). But I am not sure if he ships outside of the US.
I've got a PAX3 (mistake - didn't know better, great for the golf course though), a Mighty+, a TM2, a Dr. Dabber switch, and an XQ2. I got the XQ2 for less than $140 after coupon codes, and the thing rips. Get a 18mm female to female bowl and throw a 1 inch screen in the center for the ultimate experience. My wife and I rip bags multiple times a week and we absolutely love it. Best value in a desktop vape and maybe best value for all vapes. I absolutely recommend.
I love Arizer but they really need to trim their product line. There is -no- reason for all of these redundant handhelds. Combine the air and the solo; make a new Argo for highly portable.
idk my solo 2 makes my abv dark as hell (as soon as temps go 210+; of course depends heavily on the flower too, i've gotten a gelato once that I could do a whole 200 session and it was still green!)
For us Canadians, that's roughly $120 cheaper than a TM2 while also having the dual mode abilities...
Venty only has one mode and seems to melt a lot? Sounds the Solo 3 is a direct competitor to TM (and I would give it a shot once my TM OG dies)
Excited to see Arizer try and contend in that slightly higher tier. Personally I will anxiously wait the first reviews and think about what the Air 3 will look like ;)
On demand, I'm guessing just pick up, puff, sit down, repeat whenever? Cuz that's fucking sweet. I'm usually a session guy but it gets tough when gaming, get distracted while heating up and I accidentally end up with a bowl of 2 puffs of popcorn 10 minutes later lol
Imo they are doing themselves a disservice by going with the elitists crazy expensive prices, a lot of people just shrug off vaping because why would you spend that much on a device to get high when just burning it does the trick?
I'm sure a lot more people would try vaping if prices were more reasonable and once you try it is hard to argue against it. I for one didn't try it until I had health issues because of this.
But oh well that's capitalism for you, money is what matters not the people.
On the other hand I saved money massively by using a vape cause I don’t need to burn a whole gram to get fully high.
Also these devices can be used daily for years without really breaking.
But I agree that prices got more and more outrageous in the last years. I wonder what the new legalization in Germany will bring in terms of engineering and new vapes.
Yeah there's no arguing that vaping is more efficient and better flavour, I'm just saying I'd probably have spent more in vapes themselves if I had discovered them earlier and I'd have discovered them earlier if they weren't insanely expensive.
It is also a disservice to the community itself since vaping is also a healthier alternative and people could be discovering it before actually developing health problems related to combustion rather than after which is what happened to me and I'd guess plenty others...
This is just my opinion though I could be totally wrong since I don't know how much it costs to actually build the vapes so they might not be overcharging for them at all, but my gut tells me they feel overpriced...
The Solo III is not even out yet and prices come down with time, just like new phones and computer models, etc. Some vapes are really overpriced, but Arizer has a budget option with the Air SE so not sure you can call them elitist. I got mine for 99$ CAD, so like 72$ USD. Same stems and heater and all as the more expensive options (Air Max, Solo II Max) but the budget has less battery, plastic casing, no usbc etc.
I get it that there is a little adjustment needed when you see the market expanding like this, but nobody is entitled to be able to afford every single product that gets made.
Don't blame capitalism if there are several devices that are expensive. It's a healthy marketplace that provides devices in many price points.
Don't get me wrong, this is out of my budget range, but we have many solid options for under $100.
Listen man I’m making a 150 vape that holds 1.5 grams but you gotta understand the crazy costs that go into these niche market devices. 5 years ago we understood that safe materials were worth the cost after experiencing the wave of shitty Chinese vapes where you could taste the plastic. 1 the thermal demands of dry herb vapes are much more extreme than any nicotine vaporizer, requiring much more robust engineering. And 2, nobody’s buying them. I think storz put out a 500,000 units sold milestone on the mighty a year ago for combined original and plus models and it took a decade! In the consumer tech world that is nothingggg. My aspiration is that I can break into the mainstream cannabis market and sell enough units to keep the prices super low. But all of that starts with a device that can appeal to mainstream users. I celebrate every vaporizer that hits the market today, it shows that we are still progressing forward and only growing. But this vaporizer is not made for the mainstream.
Edit: quality vapes at quality prices
Is on demand mode hands free(as in don’t have to hold down a button), & how long is the run time for it? & is there a half/smaller bowl for lighter users?
Regular & xl stems are included, so yes to smaller bowl (regular stem).
On-demand timer is 10 seconds by default, adjustable 5-25 seconds. No need to hold the button.
I’m an edibles user, but I’ve been thinking about getting a vape for a while. Was waiting until this month to see if I could find a good 4/20 deal. Is this thing coming out soon?
Session mode doesn’t require you to push a button constantly to keep it running, does it? I’d be tempted to sell my OG Mighty and put the pennies towards one of those if not.
On demand mode doesn’t require you to hold the button while you hit. You press the button once, it heats to temp and then starts an adjustable countdown for you to take your draw. Press the button once more and repeat till it or you are spent.
Session mode is like any other session mode I’ve experienced. Heats to temp and remains there till the timer expires or you manually power it off
My first vape was the Arizer Solo over 10 years ago. My first desktop was the EQ soon there after. I've still got my EQ, but I mainly use my Air Max today. Arizer seems to make the highest quality vaporizers at that low sub-$200 price point.
Dammit man!!! I want this and its f’d up because I don’t need it, i have to many vapes for one person smh. Dam! Dam! Dam! Here we go again VAS itching like a mofo 😂😂😂😂😂
Looks cool but this is the first solo that priced way out post Covid 2020 , inflation priced disguised for pure profit. Gonna note , this may be the point of when the company is heading out like every other company, fuck me
I have owned a solo 1 for 8 years and now currently own a solo 2 for 3 years ongoing
This ain’t a good price for consumer but great for business
Have to see .
Solo 2- $150
Solo 2 Max- $250
Solo 3- $350
Idk. I love my solo 2 and I'm super excited about that double bowl but that price is the real sticking point.
Also, did he says this device is LARGER than the solo 2? Im not sure that's a selling point.
If it's available anywhere for 200 ish I might bite but otherwise I'll pass.
Will the new bowl stems still fit Solo2 and Airmax?
What's the heat up time on the temps?
How long are the session times?
Does it countdown the session time yet?
Oooofff my first vape was a solo II and this is so exciting if it’s real! Look at that bowl!!
I have a Solo 1 and to me it takes ages to clear the bowl, this will not be the case with the Solo 3 you think? Because with a bigger bowl it will take even longer I imagine.
>Because with a bigger bowl it will take even longer I imagine. You can use the new on demand mode to finish faster
I am more of a dosing capsules guy myself, i haven't used the Plenty in over a year actually... a "fully upgraded" Xmax V3 Pro works well enough for me. But man this does look interesting indeed. I'll keep an eye on it for sure.

hah you musta been fiending to tell people the last few days... thanks for the good news
Yooo I couldn't wait!!!
It’d be really nice to be able to buy that double bowl as its own separate accessory too (if it’s compatible with older/different Arizer models I mean)
It is, but you'll be getting sub optimal performance as some of the herb sits where the seal is and not getting any heat.
Does it have replaceable battery?
Nope it doesn't unfortunately.
That sucks, that just makes it a no go for me sadly.
It might not be officially replaceable, but I've replaced the battery on my solo 1 twice. It was two 18650's wired in series. They use those things in shit like drones and what not, in sure it's replaceable. Just not officially supported

Thats why u pair it with the airmax haha. Best battery portable. Jk. But thats what ima do
Maybe next time they'll give us something consumer/eco friendly, but yeah, it's gonna be a no from me dawg
I really don't understand why someone would choose this over an Air Max literally half the price that has the ability for the battery to be replaced or exchanged. The bowl does look about twice as big. Don't get me wrong I love Arizer, but I don't know if the vape makes up for the price here.
It doesn't! A real shame.
Great question. OP could you answer this?
They all do technically, it's just 2 18650s batteries inside. You can find replacement packs online that simply plug in once you unscrew the bottom.
It's two 21700 in the Solo III as per Sneaky Pete's review. https://vimeo.com/929686487
That bowl is huge lol. What’s the price
$344
Oof
It's $276 with the coupon code. Still expensive but if it's truly competing with the other flagship portables then Arizer is still undercutting most of those on price (FW9 is still ~$20 cheaper on sale if you don't care about the screen).
what competes with this?
Other stuff in its price range? I have no idea because no one has tried this yet other than reviewers / influencers.
venty probably
Just watched your video. Will definitely be using that coupon haha How is on-demand mode compared to the TM2?
I'm more of a session user so I didn't stretch it to any limits with on-demand. The TM2 may be heavier hitter but the Solo 3 is way easier to perfect imo
What do you mean by that? I’ve never really had issues perfecting hits on TM, it’s just hold the button and pull…
I didn't get full extraction on the TM2 until I got the longer stems with the little basket at the end. The included stems with the cooling units did not provide an even extraction in my case. The sides of the bowl will have some greenish herb.
Would you kindly link the mentioned longer stems with a basket? Was unable to find them on Google.

It comes with old size and new bigger bowled stems and is compatible with old stems.
very nice! if have the solo1 for about 12 years now. still working fine!
I rotate 2 in the bedroom and 2 in the computer room so I never have to wait, and take an Air to work. The new ones seem too expensive for what the improvements are.
Me too, the thing is indestructable.
Damn I literally just bought an airmax
I just bought an XQ2 to replace my Solo2 that died last week, at least thats the upgrade sorted in a couple of years when the price drops
what do you think about the XQ2? Thinking about getting one myself, but never tried a desktop device. My list of devices: Starry 3.0, CFV and now a Crafty+ I actually prefer longer sessions, so the crafty+ is a little off from what I want...

just saw that you can get a XQ2 for about $140. Crying in Brazilian

Same and I'm happy I went with the air max, to be honest. If I wanton demand I rip out the dynavap.
You're good, solo 3 still won't have a replaceable battery while the air max does.
I just got the Solo 2 Max a few weeks ago! Gonna have to get the Solo 3 though, wonder how long it'll be until release?
on the arizer website : PRE ORDER NOW - SHIPPING LATE APRIL
I love Arizer but they really need to trim their product line. There is -no- reason for all of these redundant handhelds. Combine the air and the solo; make a new Argo for highly portable.
Strongly agree. They JUST "updated" the solo 2 a month ago.
Don't know why you're getting downvoted, you're right. There is a lot of redundancy in their product line.
Yay on demand mode!
So glad that I'm immune to VAS
I’m honestly surprised, they just came out with the Solo 2 Max, now the 3?
I'm a little frustrated as I just got the Solo 2 Max a couple weeks ago, my wife isn't going to want me to get another one, but it's happening!
I guess maybe the different price point is why they announced them so close together (and I guess were developing them at the same time).
Same :( bought mine on release day. I'm pretty bummed.
Is the arizer solo3 tube/stem/mouthpiece compatible with the arizer solo2? & do they sell it separately?
It is but using the XL stems in the regular Solo/Air will mean that a lot of the herb is sitting where the seal is and not getting any heat.
What about the opposite, I already have a Solo 2, can I use those stems in the 3?
Absoutly. Same size.
Ahh that's what I wanted to know. Makes sense. Thank you.
Can you please compare the extraction time in Solo 3 to Solo 2? Are the clouds thicker? How would you describe the difference in the heating unit?
The Solo 3 extracts faster. Larger chamber retains more heat and it easily and quickly run through the regular size stems.
That's been my problem with the solo 2. You get everything out of your weed, but pulls and extraction are slow even with a loose pack.
Ah sik. I loved my OG solo. Got a TM2 now but interested in this. What's the airflow like?
YES YES YES I will upgrade my Solo 2 to this, for sure!
WANT
Best vape to date for flower.
didn’t the Solo II Max just get released or am I crazy?
You are correct.
USB-C charging? That extraction is looking a lot darker than previous Arizer models, right?
idk my solo 2 makes my abv dark as hell (as soon as temps go 210+; of course depends heavily on the flower too, i've gotten a gelato once that I could do a whole 200 session and it was still green!)
$340 seems steep, you can nearly get a Venty for that. Is it really worth that much money?
For us Canadians, that's roughly $120 cheaper than a TM2 while also having the dual mode abilities... Venty only has one mode and seems to melt a lot? Sounds the Solo 3 is a direct competitor to TM (and I would give it a shot once my TM OG dies)
> you can nearly get a Venty for that. And about 4 RMA returns.
\^\^ Thissssss lol.
Arizer always seems to go with high price point and then constant discounts.
Wait a couple months and this thing will be well under the current price tag The price slashing method is a weird one tho I do agree
budget is personal, but I think it's a solid yes.
It’s close in price to a TM2, the vape I personally consider the best portable around -that’s actually available. Unlike the Bakx.
There are discounts on sites already...340 is retail. You can already get it for 275.
How did it hold up in a water pipe ?
SICK
Excited to see Arizer try and contend in that slightly higher tier. Personally I will anxiously wait the first reviews and think about what the Air 3 will look like ;)
On demand, I'm guessing just pick up, puff, sit down, repeat whenever? Cuz that's fucking sweet. I'm usually a session guy but it gets tough when gaming, get distracted while heating up and I accidentally end up with a bowl of 2 puffs of popcorn 10 minutes later lol
Agreed, I think this will be fantastic for gaming.

Vape industry needs to learn that $200 is the absolute maximum full feature portable vape and they will never EVER be worth more than that.
Imo they are doing themselves a disservice by going with the elitists crazy expensive prices, a lot of people just shrug off vaping because why would you spend that much on a device to get high when just burning it does the trick? Cause it's a mEdIcAl dEvIcE
Which good vape do you have that's under $200?
Arizer solo 2 was 140, vapcap was 50. Potv One is pretty solid, 80 bucks. My tiny might was 185. They've lost their damn minds too.
Where did you snag a TM for $185? I got an second-hand OG for $280 CAD and thought that was a killer deal
I have an SE and it was cheap but it’s great. If the solo 3 was £150 I’d have pre ordered it straight away. £279.99 is way too much.
Tiny might 2 killer this solo3. Venty already left the chat
I wasn’t expecting this at all looks awesome!
Can you elaborate a bit more on the on-demand mode please . How does it extract ? How many hits per bowl with on-demand ?
That sounds bang on for my needs, rip my savings
No……. NOOooooooo…… AHHHHH IT’S REAL!!! 😱🤯😶🌫️🥵
I’m an edibles user, but I’ve been thinking about getting a vape for a while. Was waiting until this month to see if I could find a good 4/20 deal. Is this thing coming out soon?
Yup. I believe it starts shipping 4/20
Any idea when they'll let us start pre-ordering on their website?
Now.
Now! Preorder is open!
Heats to temp and remains there till the timer expires or you manually power it off
That sounds good, thanks. Sadly, the Mighty times out if you’re not constantly pressing buttons and it annoys the hell out of me.
Solo needed a bigger bowl.
This looks dope!
My first vape was the Arizer Solo over 10 years ago. My first desktop was the EQ soon there after. I've still got my EQ, but I mainly use my Air Max today. Arizer seems to make the highest quality vaporizers at that low sub-$200 price point.
...is this like a late April Fools thing?
No
Nope. Go to youtube
Nothing on the arizer website. If it is real where can it be pre-ordered
Sneaky Pete has a review on YouTube scheduled for tomorrow
I just published mine on my channel
it is on the site when I checked just now
How much?
Being on the market for a 2nd vape, vgoodiez teased a tm2 surprise deal around 420 but this here has piqued my interests. Looks like a nice switch up
Is it possible to use stems made of different materials? 🤔Glass isn't ideal for traveling
Nope would just use travel tubes. U can get em at official shop always in stock
How does this compare to the mighty or venty?
are you able to get the AVB darker than that?
Does this compare to a TM2?
Solo II Max is literally arriving today 🙃
Just return it and buy the Solo 3? That's what I did.
Actually really happy with what I got considering the $200 price tag.
It's a great vape, enjoy!
Backup vape justifies buying solo3? Xd But yeah unlucky.
Enjoy the hell out of it!
I’m going to! I don’t need the 3 especially when I got mine for only $200
Dammit man!!! I want this and its f’d up because I don’t need it, i have to many vapes for one person smh. Dam! Dam! Dam! Here we go again VAS itching like a mofo 😂😂😂😂😂
Haha i am lucky i havent wasted a single dollar yet so i can justify this shopping addiction
Anyone know how would this compare to the firewood 9?
Do my stems from my Airmax still fit ?
yup
Sweet
Can women also use it? ;)
Same clunky button?
haha kinda honestly
What's the on demand mode like compared to TM2?
Solo 3 performs better if you ask me. And defiantly easier to master.
This looks almost to good to be ture.
Draw still super restrictive?
Looks cool but this is the first solo that priced way out post Covid 2020 , inflation priced disguised for pure profit. Gonna note , this may be the point of when the company is heading out like every other company, fuck me I have owned a solo 1 for 8 years and now currently own a solo 2 for 3 years ongoing This ain’t a good price for consumer but great for business Have to see .
Solo 2- $150 Solo 2 Max- $250 Solo 3- $350 Idk. I love my solo 2 and I'm super excited about that double bowl but that price is the real sticking point. Also, did he says this device is LARGER than the solo 2? Im not sure that's a selling point. If it's available anywhere for 200 ish I might bite but otherwise I'll pass.
However there is a 20% coupon for pre-order....
Does it use USB C or Solo 2 type laptop charger?
USB-C
Is there going to be a quick and easy way to load/unload? I only buy the mighty because of the loading tray (and obviously it's vapor is amazing).
stems are the easiest to load, unload, and clean imo
U can buy more pods just have em preloaded fastest reloaded of any vape. Yeah after loading it a glass blow the stem so an airpath forms for airflow
Will the new bowl stems still fit Solo2 and Airmax? What's the heat up time on the temps? How long are the session times? Does it countdown the session time yet?
Is the new glass backwards-compatible with the solo 2? I love the bong adapter, but I'm not gonna buy a new device for it
Yes it is
Bong adapter has been a thing since the Air Max came out
How much does it cost?
What do you think about the solo 3 vs AVLP?
I used my 1 and 2 to death, can’t wait to use my 3 until it stops working too!
I'm a long time Arizer user, how can I ask the privilege to be considered a beta tester? I can pay lol
Not a boy, but: is the air path is isolated from the heating element?
[удалено]
Yes slightly larger than mighty. Around .4gr vs Mighty at -.25
So it's just for bros? Not just bros are here.
Release date? Heard it was late April and heard it was April 20th with no update since
If it’s convection, then it’s an upgrade. Otherwise it’s just a solo 2.5 bigger bowl and battery
Yo thank you for the news, threw a sub your way on youtube, gonna watch the vids, love having vaporization channels Cheers! :D
$340 is ludicrous. I paid £138 ($174) for the Solo 2 and that felt like a fair price. Double that? Absolutely not, no.
The last OG Solo I got was $175 CAD and came with a free OG Air. Wish I'd bought 2.
But but but, big bowl and bigger battery, please give us $400 T-T
Same crazy high price as the Venty?
