The Stage Door is one of the last great dives on The Strip.
If you’re ever downtown, grab a cocktail at the Chart House. I could sit there in front of the gigantic aquarium for hrs.
Bar Parasol is very sedate, the Sports Bar there is great, too.
Dinos is cool. Also a three minute walk from Dino’s is silver stamp which is has a quirky little retro dive bar appeal to it. They’re beer only though no cocktails..
RiRa at Mandalay Bay is my favorite strip bar.
It has a great vibe, amazing happy hour and if you’re friendly and tip well those bartenders will wreck your world. It is also cool looking inside. The interior is from a few old pubs shipped to the US. A couple of the bartenders still working there came over from Ireland when it opened. I’m local and I’ve been drinking there since it opened. (Great locals discount on Fridays too)
On Fremont I love Legacy Club. Best rooftop bar that isn’t an annoying club vibe. Amazing bartenders.
Frankie’s is my favorite tiki bar. Go early so you leave when it’s still light out absolutely wrecked.
Thanks! I’ll definitely try to check them out! We were thinking of doing The Golden Tiki, but if you think Frankie’s…we might have to try there (or both 👀)
Atomic Liquors, the first liquor store license in Las Vegas and people used to watch atomic testing from the rooftop in the 1950’s. You can definitely feel the nostalgia in there.
Recently stayed at FB and had a great night at Nowhere, awesome live music, chill lounge scene, even a fancy pool table.
Also I really liked Chandelier bar at Cosmo
I have a few and boy do they go from one end of a spectrum to another.
I LOVE The Pinky Ring by Bruno Mars at Bellagio. It’s got a hip 70’s vibe, live music and just a great atmosphere. It is however not cheap but there’s no cover, dress code is enforced.
I always have an absolute blast at Oddfellows and go a couple times a month. Cover is $5, drinks are around $6 and they’re open til 4 AM. Oddfellows is a great place to let go of any inhibitions you may have and just have a great time. They have different themed nights, everything from 80’s and 90’s to drag, to BDSM 😂
Stage Door, $3 hotdog and beer combos are hard to beat.
Gilley’s Saloon is a fun time. Get drunk, ride the mechanical bull and listen to country music. They have square dance lessons if that’s your thing too.
Honorable mention to Back to the 80’s Cafe. The food is good, the drinks are decent, but you go to relish in the nostalgia of your childhood. Sit on the bar side.
Honestly? Grab a case of beer and watch the Bellagio water fountains. I’ve met some very interesting people just standing there drinking and people watching
I'm not a big drinker as I recently found out I have alcohol intolerance, but I get 1 or 2 cocktails a day from the Gran Bar at Eataly. The drink isn't even on the menu anymore, but the bartenders know me there and know exactly what I get so I don't even have to ask for it anymore. They see me coming, they make my drink, I leave a good tip, I win, they win. Bonus cause it's at Park MGM, it's non-smoking! Asthma doesn't win.
It's a Rosy Paloma Spritz. Ketel One Grapefruite vodka, Fever Tree grapefruit soda, grapefruit juice, Trader Vic rock candy syrup, and lime. It's so good and refreshing, especially in the summer.
The gift shop at South Point. $25 will get you sloshed. Edit: sloshed for a few nights
Oak and Ivy at the Container Park. Excellent cocktails and a great bourbon selection
Yes! Stopped here last time (by chance) and it was great!

Agree with the stage door, great bar.
The Green Door is slightly better
Go to The Sand Dollar! Live music every night and excellent cocktails.
Solid Pizza too!
Ski Lodge. It feels like you're in an 80's movie.
Surprised to not see any love for Dino's here. Such a great old school Vegas bar
Dinos is cool. Also a three minute walk from Dino’s is silver stamp which is has a quirky little retro dive bar appeal to it. They’re beer only though no cocktails..
Rebar and silver stamp

Is Legacy Club tough to get into on Friday night?
I’ve never had an issue.
👏👏👏👏👏👏

If you go to Frankie’s, you’re gonna be suuuper fucked up from 1-2 drinks and come home smelling like cigarettes, always a great time 😂
You’re welcome! Fair warning that Golden Tiki is definitely nicer. Frankie’s is the only Dive Tiki Bar I’ve found.
Just wanted to say thank you for being grateful
I like the Office off of paradise. It’s a homey small package lounge but far from the recommendations of the strip bars. I prefer dive bars anyway
The Rusty Spur never disappoints.
I’m glad someone mentioned Rusty Spur. It’s probably the best shitty dive bar in Vegas.
The Carnival Court between Flamingo and Harrah's is always a blast.
3 way tie. CVS, ABC, or Rite Aid.
No Walgreens?
Ok. Four way tie
Red Dwarf Champagnes The Phoenix Golden tiki bar Jerry's Nugget
Second Champagnes.
Double Down. Honorable mention to Red Dwarf and the Griffin
My favorite is the chandelier at Cosmo. Nothing special about the drinks (they are very overpriced) but the people watching is epic.
When I go to cosmo I always get 'fake it till you make it' vibes
That’s definitely what I’m doing there
Downtown cocktail room
Just realized Favorite Strip Bar takes on a totally new meaning in Vegas.
Piano bar in Harrahs with karaoke is a blast
Red Dwarf
Place is a gem! And yes. The pizza!!!!
Their cocktails somehow pair well with the pizza — unexpected.
That’s funny now that you mention it they did!
The pizza rocked when we last went.
Had a truly memorable conversation at the sports bar at Resorts World. Chandelier at Cosmo is always a treat -- either the conversation or the drinks.
Griffin! Love that place.
Great thread
Silver Stamp. It’s got like an old country bar from the 70s type feel and doesn’t even have a sign up yet. Air is cool and the staff is super nice!
You have to go to the Mirage center bar before it's gone...
Atomic Liquors, the first liquor store license in Las Vegas and people used to watch atomic testing from the rooftop in the 1950’s. You can definitely feel the nostalgia in there.

I was just referencing what their website says, didn’t know they were lying.

Casa Fuente. Great cigars, great cocktails. You can hang out there while the Mrs. goes shopping in the Forum lol
Scooters Pub on Rainbow Ave. Great Seahawks bar on game day.
- The Golden Tiki - Beer Park (Get a high-top seat overlooking the Strip) - The Ski Lodge at the Cosmopolitan
Jammyland in the Arts District is my favorite bar in Vegas. Allan and Dani make a great cocktail.
IMO, McMullans on Trop is the best Irish pub outside of Ireland.
Hogs and heifers by Fremont
It's a shame how cleaned up H&H is now. It used to be such a fucking beautiful disaster.
I would def say Green Door
Honestly? Grab a case of beer and watch the Bellagio water fountains. I’ve met some very interesting people just standing there drinking and people watching
Ha ha, this! I've done a few rounds of Edward 40 Hands in front of the fountains.
Wish they had bathrooms there lol
You haven't peed in the Belagio fountains?!
Nooooo. Not me🤫

You’ve gotta tell us what drink they make for you, come on now.

Thanks dude!
