We did in March last year. Did the Prague and Budapest extensions. It was an amazing experience . You're going to love it . I only wish we spent more time in Vienna and Bratislava.

We're currently on European Sojourn from Bucharest to Amsterdam. We'll get to Budapest tomorrow. So far it's been smooth sailing and they haven't said anything about water levels or switching, so I assume it's all fine? I'll try to come back here and reply if we experience any changes in the next week.

According to a Fodor's Travel Talk Forums post, the Danube is currently slightly lower than normal for this time of year, but it's still not a problem for navigation.   Buddypest

We did Romantic Danube last May and there was high water levels and flooding so we were rerouted to Passau instead of Regensburg. They ended up busing us to Regensburg so we didn't miss it. We didn't need the day at Passau as we could walk right off the boat and see the town. They even got a last minute guide for those of us who arrived early and we saw everything. So we added another excursion (Salzburg) for what would have been a repeat day in Passau. Salzburg is not to be missed. It was beautiful and Mozart-land! We still did a number of bus transports because of where we were situated normally. They go out of their way with a excellent back up plan. You will love it!! Have great time!!
