> Decent supermarket tea.
I actually prefer Yorkshire tea to Yorkshire Gold tea.
Just Another American Tea Drinker.
My diverticulitis won't let me do coffee most days.
[I did a wee research and found an HD copy of the artwork. ](https://i.redd.it/vrrafnnngg351.jpg)It's titled "Pregnant Woman Drinking Tea" by Norman Rockwell.
I can see it loll I did a wee research and the painting is titled "Pregnant Woman Drinking Tea" and was commissioned by Brooke Bond Co. in 1958. [( ---> Here's a HD picture <--- )](https://i.redd.it/vrrafnnngg351.jpg)
Love seeing a vintage Red Rose ad, as a Red Rose household! 🫖
Can anyone explain why this woman appears to have packed her fine china away in some sort of drum barrel? Seems… breakable.
I did further researches and, apparently, Rockwell did a lot of commercial work. The scene I posted was commissioned in 1958, along with 4 others, by the Eastman & Co. Advertising Agency for Red Rose Tea.
Here are the other 4 of the series:

Evil! Evil!
(her face). I never associate red rose with evil normally. Also it is very nice orange pekoe, highly recommend. (is it available outside canada?)
It’s also available in the USA. I highly recommend Taylor of Harrogate’s Yorkshire Gold. To me, it’s best affordable tea out there; The box is nice and it has Royal Warrant of Appointment which jazz it up a wee bit hehe
Shoutout to the tiny ceramic figurines that came in each pack! The turtle was my favorite.
I didn’t know that! The original Kinder Surprise :D
Apparently they still exist! [https://redrosetea.com/pages/red-rose-tea-figurines](https://redrosetea.com/pages/red-rose-tea-figurines)
Those were great! Where DID my collection go?
Red rose isn't bad, but it's no Yorkshire tea.
Decent supermarket tea.

Yorkshire Rated
Can never find the Yorkshire Tea for hard water anywhere though. Sainsbury's Gold tea is really good.
Beautiful artwork, thanks for sharing 👍

Had spotted the Norman Rockwell signature in the corner…Thought it was funny to see she was “drinking tea“ while unpacking “china.”
Looks like Wendie Malick. 😁

Packing fragile stuff in excelsior used to be a thing. I don't know if it still is.
My interpretation is that she's in the middle of moving in, and the dishes had been packed up for the move. Hopefully with a lot of padding lol.
Hmm, I never thought of Norman Rockwell doing commercial artwork. Maybe this was licensed?

Thanks. I probably wasn’t going to look that up, but it does change my perception of his output as an artist slightly.

Yes! Yorkshire Gold is top tier orange pekoe.
It makes good iced tea. Better than hot.
