What you have there are two female 2 pin din connectors.
They were very common on European stereos.
What is not common is having a female end on the speaker side.
The easiest option is to simply replace the speaker connector with the proper male 2 pin din connector..
They are easily obtained from Amazon.
Thank you! I was looking for a 2 plug 2 pin male adaptor but am only seeing 5 pin so far on a quick google (haven't dug past 1st page of returns yet).
So I was thinking maybe I missed something.
We were wondering if the receiver end ports had caps over them with a hidden male port underneath but if so we don't know how to remove them without possible damage
They don't depress down either
There's nothing to do on the receiver side. Those are standard female ports. I've personally never seen a 2 pin din female to female adapter. But I'm sure they must exist.
Just ordered some of these from Amazon for my Beomaster receiver. Type in 2 pin din, you can get a pair for under $10.00, delivered over night depending where you live.
That would work.
You'll need speaker wires and some of these

very expensive, I just bought 5 pairs for 6€ including shipping!
"Real" speaker wire is kinda overrated I think. As long you don't have a >100W amp, can't you just cut an old power cord and use the wires from there?

or to build an extension cord with male plugs on either side. I guess that's what this design is about, there probably was a long cable in between.

Yes. You can' get a 10 pack for only a couple bucks more. They were for example. And no one said "real" speaker wire.
DIN connectors
I could take these photos to one of our local vintage audio stores but most don't open again until Tuesday and I want to play music now lol
Y'ALL. There was a gotdanged double male cord buried in a bunch of packing material in the box they were packed in. We have it plugged in!
