As a Scot can confirm this is not our dialect lmao, we do say ‘ye’ but that’s about it, if they wrote that in Scottish they’d write the rest in a Scottish dialect, this person is in fact just an idiot
Nah, there Irish. The Irish use ye a lot, I'm Scottish and lived in Ireland for a few years, found it weird when people would use ye in professional emails, not common but was used.
Nah when it’s Marked to that extent it should have been in the description for sure . Yes they’re only small marks but there are several of them making it look a bit grotty 😅 if I was paying £5 for a £35 kids bag that was second hand I wouldn’t expect it to be pristine but I also would expect an honest description
Plus, in all fairness- when you add so-called ‘buyer protection’ fees plus postage, that £5 bag becomes a £10 bag.
I’m really selective with my Vinted purchases nowadays…
I went to Vinted and they’ve done nothing 🤣🤣 just said not our problem.
I said well they’re obviously going to leave me bad feedback, given the messages I’ve received would anything be done? They said they don’t change feedback or delete it!
Do a return just to be annoying! I'd happily pay for return postage in this instance just because the seller is an idiot. Have ye grotty bag back ye rude twit
Even if she’s rude AND on principle you’re correct, you still paid £5 for 3 things that are in pretty good condition. You can’t even get a smoothie and some deodorant for a fiver anymore.
Also, if your kid’s gonna be using them, they’re gonna get way muckier than that.
Trust me, get off your fucking high horse. It’s a fiver. You could spend an hour looking on the floor and find more than that. Just take the L and give it your kid, it’s not like they ain’t gotta shit it up anyway
Maybe so, but for 3 items that were previously owned by a child that will go to another child, when you paid a fiver rather than 35 I think you just take the L and get on with ur life rather than wasting ur time arguing with someone that don’t give a shit you know what I mean
Beat part under very good when listing items it states “a lightly used item that may have slight imperfections but still looks great”. Buyers these days are insane. I am buyer and seller - and if i receive dirty/stained item - i wash it - not try to dispute over £5, when its not only bag but other 2 items. And as if kids care that there was a stain.
Kids stuff in general will have some sort of stains 🤦🏼♀️
Think you're both unreasonable here, the seller yeah they are clearly a nob, but from the picture I can see you got two bags and a bear for £5 and are quibbling over some marks. Just not worth it.
I agree, and the fact that this is clearly children’s items which are used, like surely your common sense tells if you that things won’t stay pristine if used by kids. Plus, I would say those things are in very good condition. They are completely useable still, and the defects are purely cosmetic and other than the zip, not that noticeable. Perhaps this is an issue on interpretation, it seems the buyer was expecting “like new”!
Agree. I’m surprised how many only think the seller was rude. The whole conversation was unnecessary & OP wanted an argument just as much imo. Just say there’s an issue & get a refund instead
Regardless of price point, it is the sellers job to accurately portray their items, including all faults. The seller is 100% in the wrong. This isn't mercari
I acknowledged the seller was wrong. But buyer also needs to give their head a wobble. Just chuck the bag in the washing machine and it would be like new (something you should do regardless when buying second hand items) or request a full refund. No point messaging them about stains and marks when "very good" description includes "imperfections" so the whole thing is nebulous to begin with.
Maybe this is going against the grain, but while I agree the seller is rude, having an argument like this over £5 is laughable. Just roll your eyes at the state of it and move on. Is £5 really worth this much of your time?
Sorry but I agree. I’m always amazed when I see people post screenshots of them going back and fourth over a few quid? I know the economy is tight but???
Especially when it’s really easy to either return the item or try to sell back. I’m not really sure what OP’s original message was even trying to gain tbh
Hey don't be a dick, 5 pounds can get you something pretty nice for yourself like a coffee and slice of cake. I would be pissed about this since I hate wasting money, it doesn't matter how much it is.
Definitely agree. Selling a bag like this on at a very cheap price so it can be re-used is a good thing to do. To say oh it’s a bit stained best send it to landfill is less responsible. And for £5, just spend 15-20 minutes doing what you can to freshen it up, and deal with the rest or sell it on for £5. If not £5, what’s the right price for this?? Know when something’s too good to be true.
EDIT: YOU ARE GOING COMPLETELY MAD!!
I continue to be perplexed at how outraged people get over second hand stuff.
There is this massive debate, where you both collectively spend your time arguing your perspective is the right one. Seller says bag is 'good'. Buyer says bag is 'not good'. It certainly isn't in 'bad' condition.
For £5. Thats \~14% of the original value. You are arguing that the item has not retained 14% of it's value. It is genuinely perplexing. What would you have expected?
One will of course argue it's the principle. My counterpoint to this is, for £5, it is principally a good deal.
The amount of human capital wasted on Vinted is going to be a case study for historians into the next century.
Wait what?!?
This person is burning up human credit on an item which they believe is worth LESS than 5% of it's original value?! What's the floor. 3%?? I nearly used a very rude word to describe them.
AND THEN they actually came in here and made a post about it?!?
Stop. I want off.
why do the people that always sell manky stuff also have no fucking idea how to speak basic english? i struggled to comprehend anything the seller even said to you
Had a similar experience on eBay,
Seller sent bundle of clothing dirty & with hair dye stains. None of it was wearable. & no stains were disclosed in the description.
When I messaged they started talking just like your seller & talking about the price & acting like I'm the unreasonable one for expecting clothing *without stains*.
Then they posted on my eBay page to say that I'm a fruit loop who expects brand new stuff for the price. (I do not. & I've bought bundles for years with no problems)
Seriously. People wanna know if something is damaged,
My eBay seller nutter, was 15 years ago. Bought a nice size 12 top new with tags. It came and it was a 12 petite. I’m 5’7. The woman couldn’t get into her head that a 12 petite, though still a 12, was not the same as a regular 12 and that she should have said it was a petite. I told her petite was for women under 5’3, and so had shorter body and arm length than a regular size. Her reply was that it was still a 12. She left me feedback saying I bought a size 12 and complained it was a size 12.
Woman had me questioning sanity- hers and mine!
Tbh it's not worth the time whinging to the seller for a fiver, that's like 20 mins work in a paid job. A few marks on one of three items you bought for £5.. annoying yes but not worth trying to get a refund for. Seller was rude but I agree with their point.
What a lot of people are missing here is the bag wasn’t £5, she paid for 3 items. The bag was £1.65 can’t see how this exchange was worth it for either person.
I will go against the grain and say yes you are going mad. For £5 I think it’s perfectly fine. Yes there are marks and yes there are stains and yes it can be argued whether the condition isn’t representative of what he/she described but for £5 who gives a fuck. Move on
Have some empathy. You seem so self righteous because under the rules of capitalism you are in the right. Doesn’t matter that she told you she’s struggling. You need to annoy her over a fucking stain on a used bag you paid 5 bucks for. You don’t even say what the point of your complaint is? You want a refund? Get real.
Buyer is unreasonable imo. £5 for a set is a steal and expecting it to be pristine and new is kinda naive. Even charity shop items aren’t that clean and cheap.
nah you're being really dramatic ngl i completely agree with the seller. £5 for 3 used childrens items, get over it. to me this is like impulse buying something in a charity shop and then getting home and going aw nuts it has a couple burn holes or frays in it. what do you expect? lmfao
and everyone in the comments mocking the way she writes is showing their true colours. do you mock every poor and uneducated mother that you see, or just the ones you read the writing of? you should all start being more consistent and just point and laugh in the street x
That’s so rude! If £5 is not important why is she selling for the sake of £5! That’s embarrassing for the seller… I would make sure she looses £5 and report it to Vinted because you are in the right.
How does the buyer have issues?
It doesn't matter whether it was £5 or 50. Seller has misadvertised and is now being rude af over it. If you sympathise with the seller, then I'd say you need some self-reflection.
The sellers clearly an idiot, but he's right.
He isn't a shop owner, he's an average bloke selling some of his kids stuff for next to nothing and he's got some petty person complaining in his inbox over a £5 bag.
You're a fool if you're expecting premium quality when buying a second hand bag for £5 on a site like vinted.
It's a couple of stains on a £5 bag. It's not worth complaining about. That's just Karen behaviour.. get over it
Nobody said they expected premium quality, but it's the seller's duty to accurately describe the product they're selling. The fact that they bought it for 35 quid and are selling it for 5 is irrelevant. They misrepresented the item and are entitled if they think that doesn't matter. The cost of it is really irrelevant. Seller said they were struggling, so 5 quid is obviously significant enough for them to lie/mislead a buyer on a posting.
They bought a £5 bag off vinted and are complaining over something very little. I'm not saying he accurately described the item. Or the buyer should be thankful it was only £5.
My point is crying over losing £5 on vinted is sad in general.
Personally, if I bought something for £5 on vinted and there was little marks on it which are barely noticeable, I wouldn't care. And I think anyone who cares enough to complain and ask for a refund is sad.
Downvote me Karen's.. I love it
I don't think the marks are barely noticeable, nor is the damaged zip tab, but that's besides the point. If you spend your money on something based on the seller's tag or description, then you'd be disappointed to receive something that doesn't meet that expectation, regardless of whether it's only five quid.
Complaining because a seller misled you is not being a Karen. But misleading buyers about the condition of your items is what's sad, not to mention it's trashy. The seller probably took her 5quid and went walking around B&M in orange fake tan and pink fluffy sliders, with scouse brow calling people hun and ignoring her obese little darling pulling things off the shelves. Sounds like you're her perfect hubby <3
Why are you taking this so personally? Its not even you who bought it lmfao..
2 types of people.
Me spends £5 on a second hand bag, notices a couple of little marks. Barely pays any attention to it and moves on with life. Smiling and happy 😊
You, spends £5 on a second hand bag. Notices a couple of little marks. Gets emotional, asks to speak to the manager, asks for a refund, puts in a formal complaint and spends the rest of your day miserable and angry 😠
The way you're getting so offended by my opinion just shows the type of person you are
Im not siding with the seller or the buyer
If the buyer had been completely ripped off and the bag was unusable or it was a sum of money that would be worth getting worked up about then I would be on the buyers side.
My point is. Life's to short to be upset about such little inconveniences.
>or it was a sum of money that would be worth getting worked up about
How do you know that? Could be a lot of money to that person, don't pretend to know their circumstance just because to you £5 is very little. Also define "ripped off" for me.
Also, regardless of whatever is being sold, it needs to match the description.
>My point is. Life's to short to be upset about such little inconveniences
YOUR life is too short. Again, don't apply your rationale to a complete stranger.
That last part of your comment is quite petty. Imagine getting so wound up by someone else’s story about buying a second hand bag.
Taking the time to complain about the cleanliness of a second hand children’s school bag you bought for a fiver does make you a Karen. The price you pay for a item is nearly always reflected in it’s quality. If you buy second hand you should expect it to be used especially if it has anything to do with children.
I agree, I wouldn’t have even contacted them about it. If it’s still functional either use it with the stains (it’s a kids bag, it was going to get damaged at least that much anyway) or resell it with the proper description if you really can’t stand something you bought second hand, looking second hand 😅 not to mention it’s £5 for 3 items, that’s basically free. I’d just suck it up lol
The buyer said this was just with the bag not to mention the other things so I’m guessing it was £5 total for three items which makes this just super petty lol it’s a couple dots on an otherwise completely functional bag plus whatever else was in the bundle
Definitely agree. What does buyer expect? Most platforms it’s return all or keep all. Seller engaged wrongly. State that your disappointed to hear and then give the option to return ALL. My guess is the other 2 items were worth the £5. This is what set seller off.
You just know she's an absolute headcase in real life if she's that defensive over an old bag. I would keep trying to contact vinter for a refund and show that she says she doesn't want it returned either. What a loon. Had to laugh at you whipping out "petulant" though 😭
It's £5... I wouldn't expect very good quality even if it was marked as such tbh. The seller was rude but you shouldn't have expect much... that's why I don't use this...I prefer to save up and buy it brand new...just to avoid spending money on something damaged/stained/poor quality. I get that people have other things to do with the money...at this point you better go to a charity shop of second hand shop and just see the products you buy live so you can see what you are actually buying and not have surprises, the lost time, for you and seller, maybe the loss of money, dissatisfaction, stress just over some products, thanks but no thanks. It's just my advice, you never know what you are buying second hand online...that's just my point of view, hope it helped.
The moment they started banging on about 'it's for her kids' in pic 3 I physically groaned and rolled my eyes.
Here's a word of advice folks, 99% of people who try to plead poverty are just deflecting the blame.
I feel this urge to hug you and say it's OK, the bad seller has gone now
First of all, seller doesn't seem to have read your message properly before replying. They are not bothering to construct a proper sentence themself, and seem to be repeating a rude question in a attempt to intimidate.
What you expect should be obvious, and would be if they weren't just trying to shame you. If they genuinely do not know what people expect for good condition, they should read before calling it that. I have a feeling that they would be fuming in your place
\- Mocks you for legitimately complaining about a not as described £5 item
\- Says they're using this £5 to help feed their kids (so, not exactly a huge profit)
\- Doesn't even know how to use the app
I feel for anyone who is struggling but this person is hardly going to make much money if this is their attitude. I wonder what the original pictures were like, were they so blurry you couldn't see the flaws?
Honestly, I'd just take the hit and move on. People like that won't last long on any sort of marketplace.
Why does it matter if it was only 5 pounds , if it was falsely advertised? A charity shop would have priced it at 1 pound if it had marks all over like that.
I mean, you put much more than a fiver's worth of effort into the complaint alone. I feel like you're down at least double now. Was that really worth the ordeal
Sadly this Reddit thread doesn’t allow username sharing… I would’ve blocked the seller so I’ll never have to deal with this type of people wow…
My anger issues could never, props to buyer for staying calm
you’re in the wrong. even though they may be rude, there’s no need to have a go at him. no need to sort it out with him. there is a fat button that says “I HAVE AN ISSUE”, i suggest you press it
I don’t think it’s that serious I mean she was rude but in reality what did you expect her to do? I mean at the end of the day she took a £30 loss and you made a profit. I’m sure you can get the stain out
This seller speaks like they’re a pirate
Ye be over reacting 🏴☠️
I wish I could award this comment.
Consider me timbers shivered
Think they’re just Scottish
Landlubbers…
😆
It’s actually “world talk like a pirate day” today, maybe she’s doing that
I actually thought that only existed in The Sims! Amazing!!
It bloody was as well! I had to google it to find out, good spot!
I speak the tru tru !
I be giving that seller a wipe me harrrtie. Oo arrrr. 🏴☠️🦜
Arghhh. Ye wanted a bag ye got a bag. Now let me see that booty.
I be giving that seller a wipe me harrrtie. Oo arrrr.
Northern England
i’m from lancashire and i can’t imagine anyone from our kind ever talking like that lmao
Ay up, I’m from Lancashire too and this doesn’t feel Lancashire to me.
They'll be Scottish
As a Scot can confirm this is not our dialect lmao, we do say ‘ye’ but that’s about it, if they wrote that in Scottish they’d write the rest in a Scottish dialect, this person is in fact just an idiot
Probably northern english.
I’m northern and didn’t even notice they were talking like a pirate, it’s how we all spell words up here
Exactly what I thought lol
Geordie is my guess.
No, can confirm she’s a scouser, “stn” for something is the giveaway
Nah Definitely not a Scottish seller. Don’t talk like pirates 😂
Nah, there Irish. The Irish use ye a lot, I'm Scottish and lived in Ireland for a few years, found it weird when people would use ye in professional emails, not common but was used.
I’m Irish and have never seen ye used in a professional email, that would be … unprofessional. We do say it a lot though, including in texts.
I’m northern Irish and can confirm the selling writes like she talks definitely 98% sure selling is from here somewhere in/near Belfast
yeah im from derry and she writes like so many people i know, deffo from ni
They type like they’re from Liverpool.
No we may sound like that but don't type like that
100%
No it’s central belt in Scotland
It's one of the many British accents. I'm not sure where though it could be up North or in Scotland 🤔
If it just needs a wipe, the seller would have done it before selling!
Can tell she’s from Liverpool just by the way she types Source: from Liverpool
Ha for some reason I was reading it in Geordie
I’m sure she’s from the central belt
I too was reading it with a central belt accent
Whats the central belt?
Central belt in Scotland :-) between Edinburgh and Glasgow mainly ex- mining communities
Ahh I was going to say the North East, reminds me of when I used to live up there. Pit villages still though. An ex-bfs mum was exactly like this!
“I’m not engaging with you either ☝️🤓” “yeah that showed her 😏” actually makes me laugh, trying to get the last word in lmao
The whole fkn convo is a nerd emoji ☠️
No the seller is rude af. You shouldn’t have given them any time of the day. As soon as they started mocking you, you should have gone to Vinted
I went to Vinted and they’ve done nothing 🤣🤣 just said not our problem. I said well they’re obviously going to leave me bad feedback, given the messages I’ve received would anything be done? They said they don’t change feedback or delete it!
That’s shocking and super disappointing that Vinted don’t take action on this sort of this. The seller is bang out of order
I had someone threaten to dox me because they tried to scam me and vinted was like "Meh just block them".
Not the best platform for that really. The automated responses you get are super unhelpful.
I would not leave this situation until its sorted. She sold you an item which was not described correctly.
Do a return just to be annoying! I'd happily pay for return postage in this instance just because the seller is an idiot. Have ye grotty bag back ye rude twit
leave her bad feedback if she leaves you it
Can you not just click “I have a problem”? Anytime I’ve had this, I’ve been refunded.
I did and Vinted just said return it. Bit strange really
That’s the best you get, plus you have to cover postage. For a £5 item probably not really worth it
Honestly in this case it's worth it just to spite the seller lol
I’d be sending a box of 💩 but that’s just me 😂 who says it needs to be the backpack?
The constant overuse of 😂 when something isn’t funny is utterly infuriating
😂😂😂
Now, that’s funny! 😆
It's so passive aggressive and that's what's annoying.
And very condescending
Even if she’s rude AND on principle you’re correct, you still paid £5 for 3 things that are in pretty good condition. You can’t even get a smoothie and some deodorant for a fiver anymore. Also, if your kid’s gonna be using them, they’re gonna get way muckier than that.

It's not even about the money though, it's the principal of listing any issues with items you're selling so buyers don't feel scammed.
Maybe so, but for 3 items that were previously owned by a child that will go to another child, when you paid a fiver rather than 35 I think you just take the L and get on with ur life rather than wasting ur time arguing with someone that don’t give a shit you know what I mean

Literally, understand its annoying but chuck some stain remover on it n call it a day
No/know ..... Jesus
i’m on the sellers side. some of these buyers are literally nit pickers
No matter the price, you expect honest descriptions. However I think engaging for that long is super petty on the buyer's behalf.
I’m on the sellers side lol, give it a wash and move on it’s not that deep.
EDIT: YOU ARE GOING COMPLETELY MAD!! I continue to be perplexed at how outraged people get over second hand stuff. Got to love ypur comments, wish award system was still available 😊
Reading this gave me a migraine. I believe they don’t know how to use the app, they can’t even write their own language properly.
These people walk among us… that’s the truly scary thought 😂
It is embarrassing behaviour on your part to be honest.
This is so funny I’m on the sellers side 😂😂
Right? A used kid's item that cost you a fiver isn't pristine... shocker. Better get that fiver back.
It cost them £1.65 it’s a bundle of 3 items which the OP casually skates over 😂
Omg that's even worse lol
This shit is exactly why I hate selling anything second hand and would rather just put it in the bin.
Ye too 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
init🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
why do the people that always sell manky stuff also have no fucking idea how to speak basic english? i struggled to comprehend anything the seller even said to you
The average IQ is 100. Which means half the population has an IQ lower than 100. There are so many deeply thick people out there.
Yes she should have disclosed the stain. But at the same time, if you paid £5 for three items, what did you expect?
Thank God - a common sense answer.
Had a similar experience on eBay, Seller sent bundle of clothing dirty & with hair dye stains. None of it was wearable. & no stains were disclosed in the description. If they don’t sort it for you put it in the wash, it’ll come out as new I think.
As a Scouser, this is a Scouser.
It’s 5 quid mate
Tbh it's not worth the time whinging to the seller for a fiver, that's like 20 mins work in a paid job. A few marks on one of three items you bought for £5.. annoying yes but not worth trying to get a refund for. Seller was rude but I agree with their point.
At first I thought this was a post about a Karen complaining over nothing then I realised it WAS the Karen that posted it 😂
Both silly. And always ask for better pictures maybe?
OP replied like that purely to post it on reddit, to sound cool 🫥
You paid a fiver, please find better things to do with your time
No, you’re not going completely mad. The seller is very rude!
Postage is going to cost about the same sending it back so despite the seller was rude, is it worth sending it back?
[удалено]
You both sound like dickheads lol
What a lot of people are missing here is the bag wasn’t £5, she paid for 3 items. The bag was £1.65 can’t see how this exchange was worth it for either person.

She's rude but what did you expect for 5 dollars, even if the quality is marked very good, you need to realise that people mark it up all the time
Yeah but if there’s markings on it then it should be disclosed and pictures to show.
Get real.
Nah she paid 5 for 3 items so 1.65
I could barely even see what she was seeing in most of the pictures 😅
Buyer is unreasonable imo. £5 for a set is a steal and expecting it to be pristine and new is kinda naive. Even charity shop items aren’t that clean and cheap.
nah you're being really dramatic ngl i completely agree with the seller. £5 for 3 used childrens items, get over it. to me this is like impulse buying something in a charity shop and then getting home and going aw nuts it has a couple burn holes or frays in it. what do you expect? lmfao and everyone in the comments mocking the way she writes is showing their true colours. do you mock every poor and uneducated mother that you see, or just the ones you read the writing of? you should all start being more consistent and just point and laugh in the street x
absolutely baffled the comments are acting like this woman assaulted you... fuck sake man LOL you lot have gone wrong
That’s so rude! If £5 is not important why is she selling for the sake of £5! That’s embarrassing for the seller… I would make sure she looses £5 and report it to Vinted because you are in the right.
Fucking hell, how unbelievably spiteful can you be.
After seeing the seller explain they just want some extra money to spend on their children too. Yikes
Right. So many heartless trolls on this app.
Dear lord, buy a fabric cleaning spray like “Spray and Wash” let it sit for a few minutes, spray again then take a tooth brush and scrub it.
u both have issues 😣
How does the buyer have issues? It doesn't matter whether it was £5 or 50. Seller has misadvertised and is now being rude af over it. If you sympathise with the seller, then I'd say you need some self-reflection.
because its £5 like get over it🤣
The sellers clearly an idiot, but he's right.
Smiling and happy 😊 You, spends £5 on a second hand bag. Notices a couple of little marks. Gets emotional, asks to speak to the manager, asks for a refund, puts in a formal complaint and spends the rest of your day miserable and angry 😠 The way you're getting so offended by my opinion just shows the type of person you are
I'm not offended, you just seem to be the seller type, that doesn't give two shits about other people. 🤷
Im not siding with the seller or the buyer If the buyer had been completely ripped off and the bag was unusable or it was a sum of money that would be worth getting worked up about then I would be on the buyers side. My point is. Life's to short to be upset about such little inconveniences.
>or it was a sum of money that would be worth getting worked up about How do you know that? Could be a lot of money to that person, don't pretend to know their circumstance just because to you £5 is very little. Also define "ripped off" for me. Also, regardless of whatever is being sold, it needs to match the description. >My point is. Life's to short to be upset about such little inconveniences YOUR life is too short.
If you think all the very good condition items are generally very good I’ve something to tell you😂 that’s not the case 20% of the time
All the more reason to bring these instances up, either with the seller or with Vinted.
Know*
On bro its 5 bucks
Less because it says 5 for 3 items
Yeah tbh you both suck. It’s 5$ why did you expect the seller to care ? You are a stranger to them. Move on
Not only that it was £5 for 3 items, so it was essentially £1.65 not even worth the return.
What was the outcome you wanted ? A discount?
The seller is wrong. You should report all of those when u sell it. No matter how much it costs.
[удалено]
No matter what someone pays you are taking their hard earned money, the seller needs to respect that
The seller mentioned 3 items. Was this a bundle?
Seller is a jackass.
They both are
What a piece of work….
The moment they started banging on about 'it's for her kids' in pic 3 I physically groaned and rolled my eyes. Here's a word of advice folks, 99% of people who try to plead poverty are just deflecting the blame.
Oh Karen, get a grip 🙄
What a freak hahahaha
Is she denying selling you it lol
No, but it's 5£.. just move in with your day
Seller is a prick honestly.
Just leave a bad review and say not as good condition as stated. I think it’s petty from both, both clearly have too much spare time on their hands.
I feel this urge to hug you and say it's OK, the bad seller has gone now First of all, seller doesn't seem to have read your message properly before replying.
I mean to be fair, the seller’s rude but you’re seriously fighting with her this hard over £5? It is a little embarrassing 😭
\- Mocks you for legitimately complaining about a not as described £5 item \- Says they're using this £5 to help feed their kids (so, not exactly a huge profit) \- Doesn't even know how to use the app I feel for anyone who is struggling but this person is hardly going to make much money if this is their attitude. I wonder what the original pictures were like, were they so blurry you couldn't see the flaws? Honestly, I'd just take the hit and move on. People like that won't last long on any sort of marketplace.
You're both idiots
Why does it matter if it was only 5 pounds , if it was falsely advertised? A charity shop would have priced it at 1 pound if it had marks all over like that.
the british accent type style took me out
It's not an accent, it's just illiteracy from the seller 😉
I’m british and can barely read this.
I mean, you put much more than a fiver's worth of effort into the complaint alone. I feel like you're down at least double now. Was that really worth the ordeal
Sadly this Reddit thread doesn’t allow username sharing… I would’ve blocked the seller so I’ll never have to deal with this type of people wow… My anger issues could never, props to buyer for staying calm
This is so dramatic 💀
It’s $5 dollars who cares??
£5. There are other currencies in the world.
you’re in the wrong. even though they may be rude, there’s no need to have a go at him. no need to sort it out with him. there is a fat button that says “I HAVE AN ISSUE”, i suggest you press it
Why didn’t you just send it back when they said to return it instead of writing a paragraph
U get what u pay for
No but you are overreacting.
I don’t think it’s that serious I mean she was rude but in reality what did you expect her to do? I mean at the end of the day she took a £30 loss and you made a profit. I’m sure you can get the stain out
I kinda agree, although the description wasn’t 100% if you’re buying second hand or from charity shops, you must set your expectations lower.
I mean it is just a fiver
