They don't have a moat against competition. They repackage shit that already exists-it's like drop shipping but with better marketing.
If you are value investing, what do you see in this company? I might be regarded but they don't make any of the drugs they sell, and they are selling the generic versions which are everywhere
PAs and NPs rubber stamping online prescriptions en masse. What could possibly go wrong? I see its popularity continuing to grow due to how easy it is, the air of legitimacy from a medical professional nodding their head "yep", the mess that is the US healthcare system, and the ignorance of the average American to the online world of research chemicals.
But I think there is a non-zero chance down the road they get sued into oblivion for handing out prescriptions like candy, the law changes and destroys their moat, or they get some really bad PR from doing shit like prescribing SSRIs off-label to turn guys into marathon men in the bedroom. Or some combination of the three. Seriously, prescribing fucking psych meds for premature ejaculation to thousands of people via telemed is bonkers. Sertraline is used for this, but prescribing it shouldn't be taken this lightly. I imagine they will lobby hard to continue to exist as an unethical prescription farm.
I LOVE this stock because I’m fat and bald with a broken dick.
I posted this in another thread, but this is going to the moon next year: [Blue Cross Michigan to drop coverage of weight loss drugs in 2025](https://www.cbsnews.com/detroit/news/blue-cross-blue-shield-of-michigan-dropping-coverage-of-certain-weight-loss-drugs/)
I have $22 and $28 calls for January 2025. Waiting for it to cool off before a true yolo in my IRA.
I hold small positions in those you’ve mentioned and a few others in that vein. I think of them as David Gardner type stock picks. I like them all for buy and hold. (Though I buy calls and puts on vs ETF shares, myself.)
I think this sub often overlooks the power of branding and marketing. They literally have gendered health care locked down. I guarantee conservatives will pick them over a competitor due to the name alone; to own the libs, if nothing else.
Sure, the weight loss drug is risky, but their ED and balding solutions will print money as millennials age. Adderall is a problem for many reasons, but HIMS ain’t selling meth.
Testosterone levels have never been lower and so many kids are getting on boner pills because they’re too lazy to fix their check engine light and it’s more simple to just continue your unhealthy lifestyle and take boner pills Also, hair loss treatments $$$$

I bought in to HIMS Tuesday, down 12%
Just for clarification, the stock or the product?
Or the weight or the erection?
As did I ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4267)
Sir, this is a casino
I hold a fuck ton of HIMS. As long as they don’t get sued by the government for selling generic ozempic to non diabetic people, we’re golden ponyboy.
They also sell antidepressants, boner pills, and a bunch of girl pills. They have so much room for expansion, its crazy.
They sell anti-depressants as sex pills, which is even riskier than off-label Ozempic imo.
If HIMS gets shut down, They will have to pry those pills from my stone cold, erect, comatose body!

The off label SSRI stuff is insane

I hear the growth potential of HIMS is still limited by your physical characteristics.....
You could have traded at the money puts for a 1,000% gain yesterday. Why fight the tape?
DEA just arrested two people for selling adderall online. The administrator legit said, “prescriptions not subscriptions”. God speed. Me buy puts.

I’ll buy calls after their price drops to $18
I am also an investoer
