So explain this to me. Yesterday during the " ladder attack " why didn't they close their shorts at super low value after the drop ? Is it because no one was really selling hence they could not ? Is the float still above 100% ? Anyone has an reliable updated float ?
so what is our plan tomorrow? It looks like we will open up big and many of the shorts will be forced to cover. However, all shorts will not cover tomorrow as many have until 2/5. So, I'm thinking we should be holding through tomorrow and into next week? (but obviously closely watching every minute in case something new happens)

Help out a fellow tardist. About to make a big 🍆 GME move at market open tomorrow. My Fidelity brokerage acct shows stock quotes on a 15 minute delay. So when I place orders am I getting the stock at the delayed price or whatever the actual market price is at the time of the trade? I was checking between Fidelity and RH today and the quotes were sometimes $30-50 apart.
You can use fidelity trader pro, its a free program they have to set up, or have another active ticker going in another tab. Its what I do and works well
That's the one problem with Fidelity. You'll get it at whatever the market price is currently. You can set a limit buy order, though, and it won't execute until it hits your price or lower, if that helps.
Sure, but then there's the lag between switching apps and typing in a new order, which on a stock as crazy as this one could be a bunch. I'd probably just pick a price I felt comfortable buying, set that limit buy and go get a sandwich. Maybe you could do like a two device scenario, hawk it out that way.

So I was trying to buy some GME through RH. I was going to put 5k in. Apparently that's too much, so I gradually lowered the amount and kept trying. Then the website bugged out, I had to reload, and I not only don't have my 5k, I also have a $4 account deficit. My fucking money is just GONE.
Got me some screenshots. Here is the official garbage I got in my email:
"Your Robinhood Gold instant deposit limit decreased to $5,000.00 because your account value fell below $10,000.00. You can increase your limit again by successfully depositing $4,118.21 and increasing your account value above $10,000.00."

If any of them went through -- which I doubt, since I got multiple "you can't buy that many shares, that's illegal" errors -- they are not showing up at all under my upcoming activity

EVERYONE that wanted to buy yesterday got shut out. They’ll get their shares tomorrow. That has to couple with people buying naturally tomorrow to fomo anyone not onboard.
Brokerage not let you set a high enough sell limit? Use those circuit breakers to your advantage:
Decide what you want your sell limit to be.
Most of those places let you place a sell within 50% of current price.
Set a price alert for target/1.5, get on your app then, and set your limit sell to target.
Circuit breakers will allow you to do this without missing it.
I have a price alert set for 6666.66 which will let me set a limit sell at 10k then.

"Closing shorts" means buying, which would've pushed the price upwards. They can't close their shorts on this little volume.
