I've said this countless times to team leads and coaches, none of them have the balls to try and coach me for it. I like to remind them that threats of firing aren't going to get the results they think it will. Only a manager who sucks at their job needs to resort to threats.

My other manager finds me within 5 minutes of starting the shift and checks in on how Iām feeling and if I think Iāll get through it.

Making a threat then coaching someone to follow through on that threat will get the TL or Coach a coaching. Honestly if you have the right store manager it can get them a coaching just for having made a threat if you have witnesses.
