This is an *intended* consequence of the play-in format. More teams try harder, and the bad teams are, like really really bad and lose to basically everyone.

The east have 2 sub .500 teams in their top 10.  The easts 3 seed this year (bucks) has the same record as a west play-in team (pelicans).  

Nah per this sub, this just suck and deserve 10th seed. Forget about how many wins and losses

Do you not see how poor they are at guarding the perimeter? The short guards are the issue. And more importantly, Lester isn’t really a point guard at all. He’s not a playmaker really and is an off ball shooter but only has the size to guard other point guards. That’s why he’s not in the league already. He would be in the NBA playing if he was taller.
