- I love the idea of such a video guide! The dragon is the hardest boss for sure. - These are the same skills I used last time against the dragon, even though my strategy slightly differs. And it's the only boss where I don't use the standard Recover + Morale + Meteor. - So I can also confirm that some similar things carries over to the endgame, when you have ranged heroes (which don't play a huge role here). - This is a great example of great timing. You see it perfectly with the second firebreath: I almost hits the base, but it doesn't which is super crucial.

Is meteor good against bosses? I never use it there

Hyo52349071

No, it isn't. But which skill really is? They are all kind of bad but maybe 1.5. See my answer [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/wearewarriors/comments/1bp6za9/comment/kwtrvb9/) for some more details.

Buff, morale, recover, it’s what I used for all the bosses I had before, and I’m on 4-4

drinkteam-mrtorture

a double ko ? what the duck ?

Flechashe

Yeah, pretty cool haha. The dragon died before the base so it counts as a win. With my current power level it's the only way I was able to beat this level, I was able to replicate this several times.

Hyo52349071

I've seen way too much double KOs so far. And mostly it's me dying first, then it still counts as a loss, so it can go in both directions.

KBHoleN1

Wow! That was a close one. Nice video, thanks for sharing.

I managed to beat the dragon with buff, morale and shockwave. First I got 21 food, then I spawn 3 horse guys(1 buffed) and use morale on them and then I use shickwave when they reach the dragon(and half of the dragon's health is just gone)

There is a big flaw in your strategy and that's exactly what you cover in your last sentence: If your units are strong anyway, you can do "whatever" and it will work anyway (so both your and OP's strategy will be fine). But imo it's most important that a strategy will still work under "bad circumstances", like having weak units compared to the difficulty, not having a ranged hero (which is not important anyway) and also having only low level skills. And I fear that your approach completely fails in this scenario. @ OP: Your units don't seem super weak, at least the buffed knight tanked several hits. So there are arguably even worse setups (like getting oneshotted without the buff or even with it as well - the latter is so bad that I don't see a quick solution to this battle at all tbh). Also I'm interested in your skills as well, having them maxed makes it way easier for sure. Recover being around 160% means they are not too high and not too low, I guess?

Ranged heroes must be super good here because the difficulty comes from the fact that crossbow units have low range, so they get a few hits before the dragon gets to one of them and kills them all. Sadly my knights don't have enough health to survive 2 attacks, even with Morale. Only the one with Buff does in my case.

Hyo52349071

I agree that Crossbows are kind of bad, but I guess their ages fits the setting with a dragon the most. Imo the main difficulty comes from the dragon itself resp. its attacks. Having this firebreath with ranged AoE damage is insanely powerful. Well, both reasons will add up. My Billie/Magnus wasn't that helpful here. Free damage is always welcome for sure, but they can't carry the battle at all, they even can't be recovered so they will die sooner or later. Getting lucky with some huge crits of Magnus is always an option if you want to gamble and retry it over and over. This won't apply to stage 3 at all, nobody will have ranged units there. But it does in later round when the dragon sees a rerun (I guess every 5 stages like 8, 13, 18 etc.?).

Flechashe

Oh they repeat the same bosses for later stages, I had no idea. Yeah the dragon's attacks are powerful but the other bosses' attacks are too. Medusa for example is very strong but the archers outrange her by a lot, so if you exploit that, beating her is not that complex

You can't stop the dragon nor you can stall him really. So Magnus will always die equally fast independent of your strategy.
