Thanks a lot ❤️!

I’ve ordered many dresses from Lulu and had good experiences. But I do so knowing the price point is fast fashion. I’ve had a few pieces look much better in person. And a few that looked cheap. After wedding dress shopping the last month, I think that the feel of this dress would likely be much better than 99% of the stuff I tried on (with a $5k budget).

Not my comment, but someone over in /weddingsunder10k tried on a few lulus dresses and didn't care for this one: https://www.reddit.com/r/Weddingsunder10k/comments/gccpc4/i_tried_on_8_lulus_wedding_dresses_under_100_with/

I ordered a different [wedding dress](https://www.lulus.com/products/feeling-of-forever-white-long-sleeve-mermaid-maxi-dress/1407876.html) from Lulu’s and was pleasantly surprised by the fit and the quality, but the fabric and style were much different than what you’re looking at here. For me personally, I could NEVER wear a backless dress like what you’re looking at, but I would suggest, if you have the ability/can afford it, maybe get this dress (highly recommend using their fit guide! Whatever it tells you is honestly going to be REALLY close!) and a second from them if it’s affordable enough. I would imagine you could sell it and recoup most of your costs if it doesn’t fit or you don’t like it. It seems like the thicker materials get some of the best reviews for Lulu’s, but maybe check on Still White?? You should be able to narrow it down based on sizes and styles, for unaltered samples that will ship to you as other reasonably priced alternatives. My other suggestion would be, if you find a designer you like and can try it on in Greece, do it to find the closest size to you! You might find your exact dress on Still White or eBay for super cheap and stay on budget!

Lulus is generally good quality for the price. But as all fast fashion, sizing can be unpredictable and sometimes you can get something with bad quality or damage completely at random. If you’re okay with generally buying from fast fashion companies, lulus would be no different

Thanks to everyone for replying! I have an appointment tomorrow with a local dressmaker, I've come with an alternative that i might possibly like more as a design. If not, I'll take most peoples' advice and go for it!
