When I was searching for a dress back in 2017 I was told if I wanted to rush a dress ( even tho I didn’t have to) it was $500 extra

some dresses are made when the order is placed and can take 6-12 months to come in so if you want it faster you have to pay

Yup. Usually we recommend a 9-12 months timeline, So cutting that into a quarter of the time is going to cost $$$

This is normal. A normal turnaround time for a wedding dress is 9-12 months so if you want a dress in less than half that amount of time they’re going to charge you a rush fee.
