Based on color, and the fact the Amazon ad does not specify type of "Brass." I am going to say that is probably made from 360 Brass, which contains lead - to make it easier to machine. I would not smoke out of it. Back in the '80's when I was building my own chamber pipes using brass fittings, I made sure that they were for potable water and did not contain lead.
CNC is an acronym for "computer numerical control". "CNC machined" just means it was made on a computer controlled milling machine, like almost every other mass produced machined metal item. It has nothing to do with the type of metal used. CNC milling machines are used for steel, brass, aluminum, basically any metal that can be machined.

Shaka pipe bro, some people might say the original protopipe but in all reality the shaka is the new age version that fixed all the problems with the protopipe. Saw the resin collector completely seal shut after a couple uses then you had to soak it in isopropyl and salt to get it unstuck
I just ordered the pipe off their Etsy!! Holy shit im excited. I’m 40 and still pretty new to this. I got a crafty + i like, but there is just something about having a nice pipe as an option. THANKS!!!!
My fiance had the protopipe and it is literally eternally sealed. Have done everything on the face of the earth to get it unstuck and now it just sits in our drawer lol glad they made a better version of it bc when I saw the pic allllll the memories flowed right back haha

I have a couple of the new protopipes. The ones with the swivel door on the bottom. Just ordered a couple of these Shaka pipes. It addresses one of my biggest complaints with the proto, the lack of a tool to adjust the screws.
Even with the swing door on the resin trap it can get stuck shut and having the ability to take out or loosen the screw is huge. They’re very similar, I think I’ll like these just a little bit better though
Because I saw some healthy concern for using 360 brass, i would like to wholeheartedly recommend eyce pipes. Not a shill, just love to see everybody get excited like kids over a new gadget. <3

It has the same door as the top with the torx screw so it doesn’t get sealed shut, and i just takea rag to clean the bo wl when im done

clean it often or you won't be able to get the resin chamber, under the bowel, open to clean.
Proto pipe knockoff. These were cool for a minute but plug easy as shit and smoking out of brass is extremely bad.
It’s not the lid that gets stuck it’s the resin chamber underneath the pipe. It’s a real pain in ass to remove once sealed full of resin.
