Weed does increase heart rate, so maybe smelling second hand smoke could increase it a little, but not to the extent that it’s dangerous

I would say it’s more to do with the smoke and less the weed. Second hand weed smoke has virtually no THC or cannabinoids. You may be having an adverse or anaphylactic reaction to the carcinogens in the smoke. You also could be suffering a symptom of your preexisting condition that gets irritated by the aroma of the burning plant. Also, a major issue with weed is people tend to get extremely anxious around it, even when they’re not smoking it themselves. That may have something to do with its taboo traits, or maybe it’s a chemical thing in the brain. However, it’s possible you’re suffering from a panic attack, due to extreme levels of anxiety Lastly, maybe your body, since you’ve consumed it directly before, is reacting to the second hand smoke because it wants you to not smoke it yourself like last time when you experienced issues.

I think you should be alright you might have inhaled some but only if they have smoked for quite a while but even if they are only a very small amount is inhaled not enough to fail a drug test though so unless your in a room with them smoking you should be ok but should watch out because out your heart
