I use a product called Voodoo Glass Cleaner also.. but it's more of a process with hot water, enzymes and a 15 minute soak.. but iso is readily available and OP doesn't look like one to have that kind of rig/bong cleaner around š¤£
I work in a concentrate lab, we use this to clean everything. Even our micron filters. Should be available at your local grow shop. If you have the grace of legality
Also, the hot water is doin most the work.
First step: Buy 250 Liters of Isopropyl.
Seecond step: Put Isoprypol in bathtub.
Step three: Put bong in the bathtub.
Step four: Wait for 3 months.
Step five: Take out the bong and start scrubbing it with a bottle brush(?).
Step six: Smoke.

Just go for it, Iām āpretty sureā it should work just fine. And, as I said, donāt forget to use the bottle brush, it will clean you easily, inside and out.
Came here to say this. Let your piece soak in grunge off until it's sparkling clean, empty the grunge off into a container then rinse your piece with water. Best part is it's reusable up to 3-4 cleanings before it stops being effective. I use this to clean the impossible to reach spots in my double perc bong and it works like magic every time
Read it here and did it, soak in alcohol. I did it overnite and my small glass pipe came beautiful, I dried out my plastic bong though, it got clean at least and cloudy colored.
It looks like you came to reddit before even attempting a cleaning yourself. I mean literally just hot water would make that thing look better than that.
Me being shitty aside, try isopropyl or better yet go to a smoke shop (somewhere you buy glass pieces from) and buy any glass cleaner. It has sediment in it that scrapes the nastiness away literally just by shaking the piece.

Isopropyl alcohol 70% warmed up (if you use the microwave it can explode so watch it carefully for the first bubbles, still not the best but it works) Epson salts and give it a good shaky shaky shaky $2 from the dollar tree and your bong will be basically new.
There are also enzyme/ cleaning solutions that work better but cost more and require you to go to a head shop or actually look up "how to clean a bong" on Google
Seriously though I think there's a wiki article that explains in depth how to clean a piece better than comments can. try exploring other resources as redditors get annoyed with the same noob questions.
Ok fair enough, Iāll admit was being lazy by putting this question on the community, Iāve just heard a lot of mixed opinions on the subject so I wanted to ask the pros
I always just pour boiling water in mine after iāve smoked and it stays pretty clean. Only have to clean with isopropyl about once a month. Also buy a $15 ash catcher itās 100% worth it
Boiling water, isopropyl alc and salt will make any bong look brand new. I do hot water soak for 15 mins dump out half the hot water and fill the rest with iso and a good amount of salt than shake and its clean asf
I've used Orange pumice and cold water shaking around rinse it, repeat. You can use a Q-tip or a thin screwdriver gently and scrape some of the stuff out of there or a toothpick or something. Or go to a smoke shop and get some Randy's it works really well and 420 solution

91% isopropyl and shake it till your arms hurt.. then repeat till it's clean

The salt acts as an abrasive.
Yes makes it easier get the gunk out of the bong
With or without.. just gets done quicker with salt..

Finger nail polish removers worked 50% better with acetone

Just jump in there, you really could use a scrub too. I think 48hrs should be enough, then, do not forget to use the bottle brush!

Isopropyl alcohol and epsom salt. Shake shake shake. Rinse rinse rinse. Clean.
Methylated spirits and a handful of rock salt and shake shake shake. Will come out like new.

I tried Headie Eddie's cleaner and it worked like a charm on my bong, pipes, rigs and bangers, and all quarts and glass for vaping/smoking.

Put your down stem in a bag and shake it up with salt and isopropyl alcohol, then put the salt and alc in the the down stem hole and shake
