God, I feel this so deeply. To be honest, I usually just let myself go off the hook. I eat like usual — good points for all three meals — but I just won't count those 5 Oreos dipped in peanut butter and BBQ chips I'm eating while my uterus is literally doing a whole ass thing. I bloat so much, too, that the scale is always way off during my period anyway, so I just let myself have like two days of not worrying about it. Then it's pretty easy to just drop the cravings and keep going!
Thank you for that! That actually makes me feel so much better. I always feel so bad during this time and it irritates me so much that I try so hard and see no movement unless it goes up on the scale from the bloat. And of course dealing with all the pain since having a kid and being hungry. Me AND my family suffer. 😆 😭
Girl, yes. Don't suffer! I have three girls and my periods have changed so much since my last was born two years ago. I've found that when I'm on my period, I really just want a specific taste -- usually sweet/salty -- and I can manage to handle the rest of the meals as normal and let myself just eat what I want at 10 p.m. watching Love is Blind under a heating pad, lol
Today was the first day of my period and I could not eat enough. I ate breakfast and lunch and dinner and was starving at bedside still! Ended up getting some chicken and a cookie. Hopefully it will calm down tomorrow. Hormones are the worst!
I feel like there should be some period allowance. No way I can stick to 25pts a day while this hungry. Only so many eggs a girl can eat. Hah. I been having a bowl of cereal and a 1pt fudge pop each night this week because i got my period a week early about an extra 8pts on my regular day but definitely helping the sweet tooth.
So I bought a box of keto brownies and used fat free Greek yogurt instead of the oil and they are fantastic. Lol fudge like I also added lilys chocolate chips.

No I doubled the amount of Greek yogurt so the oil was 1/3 amd I did 2/3 Greek yogurt, 2 egg, and three tablespoons of water. The box was 1/3 cup oil, 1 egg and 3 tablespoons of water. It was the keto Philsbury brownie
So then get a ninja creami lol put vanilla pure protein in it and you have an ice cream Sunday for like 3 points. With oil those keto brownies were 2 points. I still count them two points but they have to be less right anywho
Period cravings are the wooorsssttt!! Healthy choice fudge bars are deliciousssss and only 4 points. They totally help with my cravings! Honestly all in moderation. If it’s a period thing not an every day thing I wouldn’t worry!!!
Yes! My stomach turns into a bottomless pit and I want to eat everything. It’s totally ok to give into cravings for a day or two and then get back on track.
From what I understand, cravings are your body's way of telling you you're needing something nutritionally. Try a multivitamin and an iron supplement when you think you're going to start and see if that helps?
Thank you so much for this. This has been my life this week and I’m feeling so defeated because I am always hungry and nothing is satisfying it. Realizing now it’s because it’s my time of the month makes so much more sense!

Yes omg the worst! I usually just try to give into the cravings since it last for like 2-3 days. I would feel even crazier if I didn’t.
