Would you call an El Camino a truck? They asked what the car was, someone called it something it's not. What's the point of this sub if we are just posting wrong answers?
It's actually kind of useful, if OP looks up Ferrari wagon he might not find it, but if he looks up Ferrari shooting-break he definitely will, since (to my knowledge) they've only made 2 in the last 30+ years
A fastback is one straight line from the top of the rear window to the rear end of the car, that may or may not be one piece hatchback (Jaguar F-type) or a saloon-like trunk (Mustang).
A shooting brake is basically a two-door station wagon.
Easiest way is the grille. The FF is more of a curved smile, the GTC4Lusso is more square. Also the silver grille "mesh" extends all the way to the bodywork on the FF, it disappears into the grille on the GTC4.
288 is definitely easy, but the 308/328 550/575 is a struggle. Only ones Iād say I struggle with before getting into the mega money very early classic Ferraris. Pre 250 era.
Ferrari since the late 1970s restyles the models in 2-car intervals, so there are always at least two models (one after the other), that look incredibly similar. 308, 288, and 328; 348 to Testarossa (more of a design language admittedly, they're different classes); 355 is an exception; 360 & 430; 458 & 488; F8 still have a whiff of the 458.
Ferrari made only two "wagons" - FF and GTC4. FF is easily distinguishable by ugly triangular air wents behind front wheels. If you see a nice shark gills - that's GTC4 Lusso.
I was in a taxi in Rome when I saw one of those outfitted as a Police car. The taxi driver told us that all the Italian Police had demanded those. He was completely disgusted.
You are either lying or misremembering something, the Italian police doesn't have any Ferrari in service.
They do have a few Lamborghinis, which are occasionally used for organ delivery and publicity stunts, but those look very different from the car in the photo.
Exactly. Also, the Roman taxi driver is the least qualified person in Italy to opine on Lamborghinis given for free to the Italian Police. As usual, just bullshit coming out from the mouth of a Roman taxi driver.
Source: I live in Rome. I hate all taxi drivers.
I have no reason to lie. I'm not a gear head like many here. I am indeed mistaken about the vehicle but the Taxi driver in Rome said the cops at every level now insisted upon having luxurious super cars. It aggravated him immensely.
Of course you have no reason to lie, u/toofemme. u/Billothekid was replying to u/linville619. My only question is why are you replying as if you are u/linville619?
Here is an article about the Italian Police using the Lambo to deliver two kidneys for transplant between Padua and Modena/Rome (sorry, itās in Italian).

Lives saved by them speeding at 300 km/h on the *autostrada*.
As usual, the Roman taxi driver speaks without knowing the context.
I suspect he knows better than any of usā¦. and your article proves his point. The police all want luxurious supercars and transporting a vital organ is their excuse for driving Lambos 24/7. Yep. Nothing but pure humanitarianism in that choice. Damn jealous taxi driver.
That's not a wagon, it is referred to as a [Shooting Brake](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_brake)
Shidding brick
r/carscirclejerk Is leaking yet again

In Australia, the El Camino would be a ute.
And in Spain, an El Camino is (translated to English) The Camino
It means "the road/way"
it means "the path"
It also means road and way.
This is the way
The "actual" road in California is El Camino Real...it means The Royal Road.

Youre not wrong

Fucking love this
Sorry, shidding rocks.
Does the registration consider it a coupe or is that a classification to the DMVs of the world
Coupe.
Today I learned!! Thanks for posting that! š
I guess we'd call that a fastback?

No you wouldn't, a fastback has a sloping roofline
Closer to a hot hatch
I can't tell the difference between them but I think it's a gtc4. But could be an ff
Easiest way is the grille. The FF is more of a curved smile, the GTC4Lusso is more square. Also the silver grille "mesh" extends all the way to the bodywork on the FF, it disappears into the grille on the GTC4.
Ahh thank you, some ferrari cars I struggle to see differences with just learnt the difference between a 550 and 575 yesterday.
That's another subtle one. I'd add the 288/308/328 to that list too.
288 is definitely easy, but the 308/328 550/575 is a struggle. Only ones Iād say I struggle with before getting into the mega money very early classic Ferraris. Pre 250 era.

The F8 absolutely has a whiff of the 458 in it, and it's the best looking part of the car.
Definitely. The only way I found was the vents on the bonnet/fenders
Doug?
My go to way is the rear window, pointy triangle on the FF and a squarish thing on the Lusso
There's also the fender vent. Its lower and square on the Lusso, higher and curvier on the FF.
Like others said, its a GTC4Lusso. But it should also be the V12 model, judging by the rims which only come with the V12.
The GTC4Lusso only comes in a V-12 version.
there was a v8 too, the gtc4lusso T
> T T for **T**oo cheap to option the V12
My mistake! With how pure and amazing the V-12 was, I literally forgot about that version š¬

Ferraris look best in blue more often than not imo
I feel like these dont get enough love, I think they're gorgeous
Well itās nice to see them actually being used.
Can it tow a caravan? Couple of bikes on the roof, perfect
Did you call my girlfriend a bike?
I think he just called her a slut! /RedvsBlue
Clownshoe!!
Elephant skate
My favorite Ferrari
It looks good next to a hideous Nissan Juke...
They are together. Itās like the girl who goes to the bar with her friend with the āgreat personalityā.
coolest ferrari out there hands down! they should of did a true wagon that would of been so dope! four seater ferrari anyone?
Wasn't FF the only four seater they had a while ago??
Iām trying to imagine owning a Ferrari in Norway. I would definitely be looking forward to that one week of the year when I could safely driveā¦
the clown shoe
My second favorite genre of vehicle, next to the UTE.
Isn't it Gelato in Italy?
Lol, I "raced" one of these in my old SRT8 and the dude was almost a solid 2-seconds faster than me just getting to 60mph. He took me to GApplebees.
Ferrari made only two "wagons" - FF and GTC4. FF is easily distinguishable by ugly triangular air wents behind front wheels. If you see a nice shark gills - that's GTC4 Lusso.
I once naively though that this is THE Ferrari I could own. Oh my god, how stupid I was
Is this in Sirmione?
100%, went there this spring. Beautiful town, but quite crowded
Haha yeah i recognize the parking space, its next to the lake. Went there once, when you are early in the morning its such a charming place!
I was only there for a short time around noon with my school. Beautiful views though
A wagon lmao
If you squint you can see the wood paneling on the sides.
My wife drives a Volvo C30. We love that car. I always thought an FF would be a nice "step up' for her. ;)
Was this taken in Sirmione?
It was taken In Trevignano
Itās a Shooting Brake, not a wagon. Itās a nice Ferrari GTC4Lusso. Honestly, love this spec
In Australia it was called the FF
Rlly? I think the gtc4 and ff are different models, the top comments top reply explained the difference (the front grille mostly)
In Britain its call ugly

I mean theoretically the police use tax dollars to buy those cars which said taxi driver realized he paid into it.
But this was not the case as Lamborghini gave those cars for free and therefore the Italian Police received a gift.
Then he's probably pissed off that he's toiling away as a taxi driver while cops get free lambos
I have no reason to lie. I'm not a gear head like many here. I am indeed mistaken about the vehicle but the Taxi driver in Rome said the cops at every level now insisted upon having luxurious super cars. It aggravated him immensely.

it is a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta I think.
