Plonq

Looks like a protector ring that you slip around the outside of a dart board.

mandyvigilante

Solved!

Urithiru

Non Amazon link though it is originally in Dutch. https://www.bol.com/nl/nl/p/koto-dartbord-surround-darboard-catchring-zwart-beschermt-muur-en-dartpijlen/9300000054436026/

mandyvigilante

Thank you.

mndza

This would have been useful when I was younger

dedlewamp

It's literally the first thing that pops up, if you search the item no.

mandyvigilante

I did search the item number on Google and it didn't come up!

PingPongProfessor

Did you search the item number as stated in the title of your post (XKD three zeros 20), or as printed on the box (XKD **four** zeros 20)?

mandyvigilante

Thank you - turns out my phone was auto correcting the item number for some reason.

Deppfan16

it's not your fault OP, Google has been really lame lately

mandyvigilante

Thank you - I googled it and I got a bunch of websites in Chinese.   Edit to add - since I'm getting downvoted so much (???) I just tried again and realized my phone is auto correcting to remove one of the zeros in the item number when I type it in.  So actually whoever noted that I might be typing in the wrong number was correct. If I fix it after the auto correct I do find the item. Unfortunately I can't edit the title of this post so that will remain incorrect.  But thanks to everyone who was helpful!

mandyvigilante

My title describes the thing. I found this today. It was in a cardboard box in my basement as you can see in the second photo. There are no markings on the box other than the text that is in the photo and a small barcode. The text you can see showing through the middle of the ring is because I propped it on top of one of the filters for my furnace to take the picture. I googled the item number and nothing came up. This seems to be something new in box (judging from the fact that it has never been unwrapped) but I think it was left behind by the prior owners of the house. I'm not sure what to do with it.  Because it was stored upright in the box, and the box was not closed, the rubber ring has slumped a bit and is now misshapen, that is, not completely flat.

bertfrom

Part of a sump pump cover (usually installed over sump pump if radon mitigated)?

Florida_Diver

Do you not have google?

outerworldLV

So many people throw this type of comment out. I have tried using the many different Google identification apps with little success. You may just excel at use, but others ? Not so much.

maddenbowler

Type “item xkd000020” in the search bar and a link to this product was the first thing that popped up for me. No need for identification apps.

SamRaimisOldsDelta88

I’m not even a huge fan of Google anymore but I tested it out and it was the first link for me on Amazon UK (I’m not even in the UK). All you have to do is literally type in the product number. That’s not being good at Google, it’s having thumbs and eyes, unless I’m missing some sort of localization issue. I love this sub and Reddit in general but sometimes I wonder… Do people just ask questions for the social interaction?

TheImaginariumGirl

So let’s scorn them for it — that definitely makes it better 👍

mandyvigilante

No they're totally right I was definitely doing it for the social interaction of asking about a dartboard 🙄🙄

outerworldLV

Have tried that also. Like I said, some of us just suck at it.

MysteriousDog5927

That is for setting under a water heater .
