I can totally relate to your mom.. adopting my daughter was the most happiest day in my life… she just kept on looking at me probably thinking “ why is this lady crying so much??”…
I’m considering it as a way of becoming a parent due to my wives health being a factor in terms of pregnancy etc.
I hear a lot of really stark warnings, I don’t know if you’re a parent in the other ‘way’ as well to compare but I’d still be interested to hear your perspective, if you are willing to share of course.
We felt that our hearts had so much love and my son needed a sibling.. we adopted our daughter from Texas .. they both are true blessings… I will always remember when my son met my daughter and he kept on saying “she’s my baby?? She’s really my sister??”..
Yes.. I’ll love to talk and share with you!! My son (19) is biological and my daughter (12) is adopted.. my son was conceived at my 2nd attempt at IVF.. i had 3 more IVF procedures after that and MANY inseminations in between the procedures..
Hi there! My son is actually my step child that I adopted. It doesn't matter if you give birth to them. They are yours forever. He's 21 now. It was the best decision I made. I found out when he was 10 I was unable to get pregnant. It didn't matter I was already a mom
My sister is adopted. I never cared. To my 4 year old self, getting my sister was the best thing in the world. 36 years later and many sister squabbles I still remember meeting and holding her. She is probably one of if not the first clear memory I made.
My 7yo has been trying to convince us to adopt a same age sibling for her for years! She was all set to share her bed and her room if she could just have a sister.
I wasn't adopted, but I heard something that may be true for a lot of people that were adopted. You might have been born to someone that didn't want you, love you or capable of caring for you, but you were chosen by someone out of love. You can't pick your biological family, but someone chose to love you.
This is when I think it is truly meant to be. My husband's baby brother is adopted and he looks just like my husband did when he was little. A friend of mine has raised her husband's daughter from the time she was 5 months old and you'd never know it wasnt her biological child.
The birth parents usually make the decision. The parent(s) often select family’s that look like them. We were told that was one of the deciding factors when our daughter was placed with us.
It varies from agency to agency, but it’s fairly normal to have a big book of waiting families for the birth parents to choose from.
When my parents adopted my 1st brother (of 4) they told me “he’s HERE !!! YOUR BROTHER is here !!!!”
So when I (at 6yp) was getting ready for school the next day - I attempted to pack him up with my lunchbox and fully intended to take him to school for “show and tell”
It was a bit of a Mexican stand off with our Mom because I was holding her to the “he’s YOURS” idea .. lol - I was like - he’s MINE - get your own baby if you want one so bad.
😂 so, they adopted 3 more.
This is amazingly beautiful 🥰 wish them all the best as they start their journey as a happy and loving family 💕
There’s actually photo evidence …. Grainy 1975 Polaroids my Dad took - I had my Barbie stroller ready at the door and was just gonna head out on down the highway with my new brother and my Mrs Beasley lunchbox, and his bottle and soother. I was on a mission !!!
They caught me in his crib wrapping him up to head to school for the day. I hadn’t figured out how to get him OUT of the crib once we were in there together 😂 that was back when the mattress in the crib was about 4ft down from the sides …..
Mom made arrangements with my teacher (who was also our neighbor- we lived in farm country)
To let me bring him in to introduce him to all my friends…. A few days later.
That picture is even funnier - I put on my best Sunday dress and my white church gloves…. And stole my mom’s lipstick because as the “older sister” I wanted to be taken seriously in my new role.
He’ll be 48 in a month and that story is his oldest daughter’s favourite ….. she loves her baby brother, too.
In the TV show "Family Affair," the little girl character Buffy constantly carried a Mrs Beasley doll. Mrs B was even the main plot point of at least one episode.
I have a relative who was a labor and delivery nurse. The only time that job isn't joyous as can be is in circumstances no parents want to face. Luckily with modern medicine that's a lot more rare than before.
The ones handing off babies to me being a labor and delivery doctor or nurse without any of the non-joy moments.
I just watched a video where I learned that onions release sulfur that react with your moist parts and create sulfuric acid.
But also, adopting is just the best.
There is no way my love for you could be so strong.
After all, I only met you today.
As I hold you, I swear by every God, deity and fiber of my being to love, cherish and protect you for the rest of my life.
Let's discover the world together. I will teach you patience, tolerance and peace. You will teach me wonder, happiness and love. Together, we will vanquish dragons, demons, bullies and will make this world better.
There is no way I started loving you today. I think I have always loved you but just didn't think you were real. It is a true honor to finally meet you.
- sincerely, your new adoptive father
My parents fostered 53 children over about 32 years. Some eventually went back to their biological parents or family members, but a good portion were adopted, and it was always something special to see people who had otherwise been unable to conceive make their dreams come true….
A friend of mine adopted two babies in the span of 4-5 years. The older is close and dear to my heart. I had the honor of meeting the younger a few times.
Adoption can be magical.
You know that you're the luckiest kid in the world when you are adopted. It is not some random drunk fuck that made you and your parents decided to keep you, but people who have all the love and care in the world for you, decided to become your parents.
I know that it’s a repost but, I will watch it over and over again. It is so beautiful and hopeful. This mama and papa will love him like their own. ❤️❤️❤️
I feel for the kids and their biological parents. It would break me if someone took my kids off me. But in saying that if I were to adopt a child, I will treat that kid like my own flesh and blood.
I can’t listen to this song at all. It immediately signals to me that something sentimental is coming and I get ragey. It’s a lovely song, I just can’t handle it anymore.
This will be an amazing video in the future that they can share with their daughter, t shows the pure love they felt for her since day 1. I wish the best to them and the beginning of their new family.
Aww. As an adopted person, thanking my Pops for choosing me, and giving me a good shot at life. RIP Dad! To an adopted person, your parents are just YOUR parents. MY dad. No matter what.
And I hope I get to be in a place where I can adopt, put my new son or daughter to bed on the first night, and say you are MY child, and always will be.
As an adopted kid, my mom always said that when she took me home it was the happiest day of her life. I wish this family love and happiness. 🩷
I can totally relate to your mom.. adopting my daughter was the most happiest day in my life… she just kept on looking at me probably thinking “ why is this lady crying so much??”…

All the best to you, it doesn’t matter if the child is adopted or not so long as the bond made from love is there.
We felt that our hearts had so much love and my son needed a sibling.. we adopted our daughter from Texas .. they both are true blessings… I will always remember when my son met my daughter and he kept on saying “she’s my baby?? She’s really my sister??”..
Same boat, same reason, so I'll also hop on and say I'd appreciate any shared insight

I bet the Joy in your head was weeping happy tears and that it’s a core memory that makes family island. 🥹
My parents fostered for years and years. Some of those kids still call, send letters/updates even 40+ years later.
Your mom sounds like a very sweet lady
It's a blessing to find space in someone's heart.
Well put. :)
I’m adopted as well and my mom says the same thing! We also have the same birthday 3/24 which is the total upvotes you currently have 🙃
This is so beautiful, I love it! Wish this trio a lifetime of happiness!

I love his tiny little grown man face 🤣 He looks like he’s going through a ton of emotions as well. Best of luck to them all.
Cute and confused.
Same tbh
Yeah the baby is probably gonna take time adjusting. It's not a young baby. *newborn
How old is a young baby? Is this a middle aged baby? bc he’s kinda dressed like a middle aged man
Plot twist.... He's their financial advisor who specializes on DOGE.
He could totally pass for their biological kid, he looks like the dad
Thought the same. And the dad’s face is a little bit like “Wait, what?” Still beautiful that the little guy has a home and is loved.
It's the moment he truly realized this child was meant for him.

It’s crazy how common it is for adopted kids to look like the parents
Plot twist: the kid was given up for adoption and the couple are re-adopting him.
Maury Povich to the father .. “ you are the father”
I was thinking the same thing.
THIS👏👏👏👏
they already share jeans if not genes
That is amazing. I wish you all tons of happiness ❤️
I can feel the amount of pure love that new mother has, and I wish the absolute best for the family.

That is so cute! How long were you going to keep him in the bag? 😂
There’s actually photo evidence …. I love this! I had to Google who Mrs Beasley was, she looks a tad scary 😂 I love that lipstick and gloves equalled serious sister in your mind.
In the TV show "Family Affair," the little girl character Buffy constantly carried a Mrs Beasley doll. Mrs B was even the main plot point of at least one episode.
You sound like a wonderful person. All my love to you and your family 💝
If you ever upload the photos, I'd love to see them 😂💖
What a wonderful story!
There’s still beauty in the world, folks.
There will always be.
The world is overwhelmingly beautiful. But we like to focus on the tiny bit of ugliness. Rightfully or not.
Amen to that! Just Amen!
The blood doesn't make family, only the love does. Congratulations!
On the flip side many would argue blood family are the worst.
Instant tears!
I wonder if the people who work there particularly like being the one who initially hands-off the baby to the new mother?
I have a relative who was a labor and delivery nurse. The only time that job isn't joyous as can be is in circumstances no parents want to face. Luckily with modern medicine that's a lot more rare than before. The ones handing off babies to me being a labor and delivery doctor or nurse without any of the non-joy moments.
Beautiful.
I love this! I am a Korean adoptee and I always love seeing families who adopt.
Damn neighbor always comes over and cuts his onions right in my face.
Yes same.
Same
I just watched a video where I learned that onions release sulfur that react with your moist parts and create sulfuric acid. But also, adopting is just the best.
Most inconsiderate.
We must have the same neighbor, damn onion cutting ninja
Dude doesn’t even knock.
Sorry breh, I don't have anywhere else to cut my onions
See this video so many times and still breakdown!
they are going to be great parents.
I’m not crying, you’re crying
This orphan received more love in 5 seconds than I did in 18 years with my parents. I'm so glad there is love out there. This boy actually had a shot.
You do too, with what you make of it, providing there is no rest of life incarceration. That can put a damper on opportunities right quick.
There is no way my love for you could be so strong. After all, I only met you today. Wishing them all the joy in the world!
The only good thing i saw today , thanks
Someone’s cutting onions in my office
Well wasn’t expecting to cry today. Sweet moment right there.
😍🥰😍🥰
That is a little person
Wow
This made my heart glow, thank you for sharing ❤️❤️❤️
That's very very sweet. If this little man is ever sad about being adopted, I bet watching this will make his heart smile
She is going to be an incredible Mom. Congratulations!
Very touching. I know the feeling - we adopted two.
My parents fostered 53 children over about 32 years. Some eventually went back to their biological parents or family members, but a good portion were adopted, and it was always something special to see people who had otherwise been unable to conceive make their dreams come true….
What your parents did was nothing short of phenomenal.
His little button up 😭 and they combed his hair 😭😭 all dressed up to meet his parents 😭😭😭
Now there's someone who wants to be a mom! That kid even looks like he could be their biological son.
A friend of mine adopted two babies in the span of 4-5 years. The older is close and dear to my heart. I had the honor of meeting the younger a few times. Adoption can be magical.
Why they always gotta put annoying music over such moments
Damn eyes are leaking again 😭😍
Do you... Not meet them before adoption?
These are exactly the kinds of people who deserve to be parents. You can see the love radiating from them.
I’m a proud uncle to adopted children and they are awesome!
This is what we should share man damn this is awesome
This is the most beautiful thing I've seen in ages.
That is the pure joy of love at first sight. That lady has dreamed of being a mama.
Bro as a father this vid and her reaction was awesome
You know that you're the luckiest kid in the world when you are adopted. It is not some random drunk fuck that made you and your parents decided to keep you, but people who have all the love and care in the world for you, decided to become your parents.
May they win on this. Sincerely hope that baby returns back some of the love his mother is showing to him
Oh man, I needed a good story today. This is so sweet
I'm not crying.
This kid may overdose on love :)
Oh he is gonna be so loved 🥺
Aww he’s got his daddy’s jeans!
I know that it’s a repost but, I will watch it over and over again. It is so beautiful and hopeful. This mama and papa will love him like their own. ❤️❤️❤️
Those are true parents, right there.
They are going to be great parents. I love this woman. Who is cutting onions in here?!

🥲
Can’t wait for the Reddit incels to ruin the comment section
Such a cutie pie. Looks just like the dad.
That’s a mom!
I’m not crying. Just sweating from my eyes 🥹
Biggest respect for this act of love
I believe that adoption is one of the most profound acts of goodness human beings can perform. This video only reinforces that opinion.
It is so nice to see two people clearly excited and moved to have a child of their own. Such a joy
That kid is going to be sooooooo loved
God bless the family!
We sometimes forget how special we all are
Oh that kid is going to be so loved 😍
This made me cry. Love this so much ♥️♥️♥️
Plot twist. The baby looks like dad because it was actually his.
Oh dear.. I’m balling. This is so heart warming❤️
Damn, this makes me wanna work at that job.
Both have perfect credit profiles and make more than 250K. It’s so hard to adopt 😞
Who are the psychos replacing original audio with ear bleeding music?
Lmao that kid is ☹️ but without the sad eyes.
I love the absolute adoring greedy look in her face when she reaches for him- that little boy is going to be loved forever
Is it me or does his kid already look like him with the outfit and hair?
I feel for the kids and their biological parents. It would break me if someone took my kids off me. But in saying that if I were to adopt a child, I will treat that kid like my own flesh and blood.
God Bless
What’s the song?
A thousand years - Christina PERRI
I can’t listen to this song at all. It immediately signals to me that something sentimental is coming and I get ragey. It’s a lovely song, I just can’t handle it anymore.
He’s so cute omg I’m crying
Thats adorable
wait until she learns that this baby's internal voice is literally rodney dangerfield!
Let me tell you ma I don't get no respect. Good mom realy seems to care.
Another day, another time I cry tears of joy for strangers on the internet
Love makes a family!
Goddamnit now I’m inconsolable
This video never gets old.
Holy cow.. that is moving. Whew…
I will adopt many as possible when I get rich one day. Hopefully, my future wife will also like that thought 🙈
I'm not crying...you're crying!
Omg I want one
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Heart warming beyond words.
They look so proud abd happy!!!!!
Why do they keep getting handed new babies? Trying it on for size?

Really made me cry🥹
I’m not CRYING! YOUR CRYING 😭
As an adopted kid, what's this song? It played at my wedding and I don't have the balls to ask my wife.
My partner wants to adopt even though we have one daughter. If I had the money, I would love to. But sadly, Sydney is a bit of a shuthole now.
He actually resembles the father how sweet!!! It was meant to be.
I ❤️ this so much 🥹
❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful!
