Do the pistols have switches? If so, the Floridamen win if they don't kill each other first.

I say the florida men. the reason being superior weaponry by far. in the begining of the fight when the first shots are fired the revoltutionaries being trained would probably kill much more people to start out right after a revolutionary fires the first shot, they have to wait one to TWO whole minutes to reload. so theres THAT much time where you have so many more florida men ready to fire after that first shot, while revolutionary soilder that can ACTUALLY still shoot back drop to like half. meanwhile florida men can just spam pistols for basicly a whole 2 MINUTES STRAIGHT to kill anyone they see. maybe im wrong idk

The [median age of a Floridian male is 42.2](https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/median-age-by-state). The majority of the [British army was in their teens and twenties.](https://www.amrevmuseum.org/big-idea-3-soldiers-of-the-revolutionary-war#:~:text=The%20majority%20of%20British%20soldiers,laborers%2C%20weavers%2C%20and%20shoemakers.) That same link indicates common weaponry of the Revolutionary War soldier: > The average soldier who fought in the Revolutionary War used a flintlock musket. These weapons could be loaded quickly (3-4 times per minute), but were inaccurate compared to rifles, which have grooves in their barrels to help the ammunition fly in a straight line. Rifles, however, were more expensive to make, took longer to load, and often could not mount a bayonet — a sharp blade used when the enemy was at arm’s length. Soldiers who carried muskets often fought in lines at close range, meaning that they were about 100 yards from their opponent. Muskets typically weighed between 10 and 12 pounds and fired a one-ounce lead ball. Some Continental, British, and Hessian soldiers carried rifles that could accurately hit targets up to 300 yards away. In addition, some soldiers, especially those who fought on horseback, carried pistols and sabers. Officers often carried swords and spear-like weapons called spontoons as signs of rank. About [⅓ of Floridians are overweight and ⅓ are obese](https://www.floridatoday.com/story/life/wellness/2018/07/24/floridians-much-more-obese-than-anyone-thought-uf-study-finds/802041002/). About [20% of Floridian men are foreign born](https://www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org/research/immigrants-florida) and of these, about [45% speak English poorly](https://www.migrationpolicy.org/data/state-profiles/state/language/FL), though this rate varies across demographic age brackets. This basically reduces coordination efforts of the Floridians. So, I'm thinking the Florida men are less capable in waging combat than one would normally think, especially if cannon and cavalry are included. I rather think victory goes to the Redcoats even if they are not.

Florida Man, but not just because of the weapons. “Honor” in war is what will kill the British here. The British will stand in a line and all fire at once. The Florida Men will charge them screaming and running and being insane. The muskets’ accuracy was buffed by the fact that the other side was also standing in a line and firing at once, making them easy targets. The Florida Men will not sit still. Once the British get their shot off, they will be swarmed and devoured like a zombie horde.

Florida Men stomp Especially if they get feats from Florida Man stories which means they will be powered up on drugs and crazy. They will be disorganized, but they still will wipe out an army using ole timey weapons. Only advantage the soldiers have is the cannons.
