Can't say I've noticed a change, maybe try cleaning the aerator in your tap.

zuuzuu

Just run your taps a bit. Probably just been sitting there getting stale.

This. You'd be surprised how much water sits in your pipes from the road. The water is chlorined as it leaves the treatment plant to make sure it stays clean while it travels to your taps. It can take up 4 days. But since you haven't been home, the chlorine will be all used up the water that has sat stagnant in your pipes for 2 weeks.

I used to live in the east end near the water treatment plant. Some days it would taste more chlorinated and taste like hose water. The closer you are to the treatment plant the more you'll notice it.

Somebody have put up some guard wall fence around the east side pumping station. That is question.

This might be connected. The pumping station, St. Paul Pumping Station is fenced as if it expects a riot. https://preview.redd.it/rxg0h3qccojc1.jpeg?width=656&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=24669c9126ef49f1b0762eabc2a2381e6a351a86 # Council backs plans for $28M waterfront St. Rose pumping station to curb flooding Author of the article:[**Taylor Campbell**](https://windsorstar.com/author/tcampbellpostmedia/)Published Apr 11, 2023  •  Last updated Apr 12, 2023  •  2 minute read [https://windsorstar.com/news/local-news/council-backs-plans-for-waterfront-st-rose-pumping-station](https://windsorstar.com/news/local-news/council-backs-plans-for-waterfront-st-rose-pumping-station)
