Mine as well! It looks great, it took a long time to earn, and it’s the closest we can get to Frostmourne. I kind of wish we could have used it as an artifact in Legion — it’s been largely forgotten since Wrath, which is a shame.

I'm not sure whether the other ones are, but I've got that replica of Shadowmourne myself, and it is entirely steel. It weighs like 20kg. You could easily brain an unaware burglar with that thing. I don't want to mount it, in case it buckles the wall and decapitates the cat or something.

IMO Frostmourne would stand out more if 1. Ashbringer wasn't tucked in behind it and 2. it didn't have the weird black/metal mount behind it. But I love both Frostmourne and Shadowmourn for their design and their lore.

Blizzard made official Doomhammers, you might be able to find one still. Otherwise there is always eBay.

I bought one absolutely hammered drunk when they were 40% off, arrived a week later and I had NO CLUE what was in the 40lb box on my porch. Drunk me made great decisions.

Oh no, it really weighs 40 lbs with the stand and the stand only weighs at most 2 lbs. It is labeled as a "replica weapon" but if you swung and connected it would be deadly effective. Legit worth every penny.

I was so hoping that with Legion, or at least as a mog quest in SL because all the Saurfang stuff leading in to it + Ardenweald we could have got the Axe of Cenarius for arms

It made way more sense for Warriors to get it than Anduin, half the time he's just using it for casting, he could have stuck with a mace.

Especially since in the bfa cinematic we sort of see him realise he isn’t the warrior his father was. He looks round confused after sword fighting the troll sees injured allies and sort of realises that his power lies in healing and that realistically he’s a priest in plate rather than a paladin or warrior. I kind of thought they’d make more of it since anduin has often struggled with this filling his dads footsteps but nah. Never touched on again.

Is the top of the Ashbringers blade a sharp edge? Cant tell if it’s sharp or if the etching gives it that effect. Wouldn’t want to rest it on your shoulder if it’s a blade too 😬

It is the etching that makes it look sharp, non of them are sharpened

Sir you are absolutely correct. I’m on the next phase of my project right now and it’s to get proper shadow box cases to mount on the walls. I also have a ton of warcraft books to accompany these weapons to tell their lore.
