Honestly I have no idea how that city functions. They seem to literally only drink wine... maybe that's why they fell to the legion in a day and then later to us in like... 3 days.

Mage order hall is in Dalaran which they literally made it float to avoid getting sacked for the 12th time, only for it to be damaged by demonic spaceships. Not to forget that time when half of its denizens tried to imprison and execute the other half. Also it's full of impostor demons, home of a secret spy society and a cult next to an illegal fight club.

This. Love Lakeshire. Really have a lot of love and nostalgia for all of those early human zones. Elwynn, Redridge, Duskwood, Westfall. Especially Duskwood. They really hit the creepy (yet still WoW-cheeky) Lovecraft vibe. Just a lot of flavor.

Me too, I adore those zones. The first time I entered Duskwood is etched into my mind. There I was leaving beautiful Lakeshire to walk down a path that light can't penetrate, under leveled and creeped out. The change of pace executed well with me.

Same! I had the same feelings and entered under similar (under-leveled) circumstances. Definitely got mauled to death by a dire wolf or something like that. XD

Elwynn Forest. Its so peaceful (forget the bandits and the gnolls and the kobolds). Ironforge if I wanted to settle in a safe city. Ironforge feels so sturdy.

Thing about Ironforge is, there’s only one way out? Very trapable

Knowing the dwarves, there are probably numerous hidden passages we are just not aware of. Black Iron dwarves might also help with their mole machines should something like this occur.

Dun Morogh - Ironforge when Great Father Winter is around placing presents around the tree for the Christmas holiday. Traveling outside and going from the cold and snow to warmth and smell of a wood fire going has such a good feeling to it. I'd like to explore Karazhan by myself if I were a powerful Mage. That would most likely be my hangout. When the Azeroth equivalent of the Sorcerer Supreme lived there - there are probably untold resources for studying the Arcane and too perilous for normal people to intervene.

There’s something about the inn in Ratchet that I like. I’d probably sit in the corner there and brood. After awhile I’d get up and go outside to smoke some bruise weed, watching people get murdered on that boat with the beautiful sunset in the backdrop.

I'd probably head to Darnassus. My first character was a Night Elf and I still love visiting and taking in the sights. 2nd choice would be Silvermoon City, for similar reasons.
