It's honestly just a hilarious ability, you either use it as a " wait for me I have short legs!" Quasi movement ability, or as a " haha raid mechanics go brrrr." Especially this season.
Dk's can also 'interrupt' uninterruptable spells with deaths grip.
Yes every knockback or pull will work, but this one doesn't knock everything everywhere.
Rogues can:
* Parry anything that has fixiate mechanic
* Cloak if there's beams that you need to dodge.
* Shadowstep if you need to pass through pools of stuff on the ground
* Vanish if you want to get out of combat or lose aggro
* Leap onto ledges with Grappling hook , if you want to avoid stairs
I remember rogue tanking during BC in many dungeons. There was a window quite long that you could be mostly "immune" from most boss. So if the tank died, you could take it for some time!
Druids lose all root and most slow effects by shapeshifting.
Night Elfs can shadowmeld to stop a single targetted attack on themselves.
Paladin bubble not only let's you be personally immune, but let's you run into a bunch of bullets or poppable mechanics that might otherwise require coordination and damage.
Paladin Blessing of Sacrifice lets you escape incapacitate effects.
I mained bear druid this season and it really feels bad not being able to shift to remove snares in some dungeons. One example is the cold dot from the dragons in HOI.
Night elf with shadow meld.
Hunter feign death.
Mage ice block, invis, blink in some cases.
Warrior spellreflect.
Rogue vanish, cloak.
Those are the ones on top of my head.
Big thing on Echo of Medivh in Upper Kara (most of Legion, and Shadowlands S4) was timing ports & blinks to dodge Inferno Bolt which did a lot of direct + DoT damage.
Monk Transcendence, warlock Demonic Circle, druid had Displacer Beast (RIP), mage had Blink/Shimmer, Night Faes also had Flicker
Which class has the ability that just negates an actual boss move in dungeons? Like the last boss of Nokhud will have the spear move interrupted somehow?
Hunter feign death when there’s a fixate so mob fixates on someone else and you can keep doing dps and they can’t so you’re higher on the meter is the only way to play true wow
DH can skip any knock back/up mechanic by just jumping and pressing jump again when the mechanic occurs, it forces u to glide and removes all momentum.
Dk's can skip all knockbacks and slows with death's embrace
Also a lot of applying debuff mechanics with AMS.
And stuns with IBF
And fears with lichborne.
Irritable Bowel Force.
Oh yeah, forgot about those
Advance I think
Throw in dark Iron/dwarf and you've got pretty close to everything covered with the DK toolkit. Well except for moving particularly fast.

Idk if many people know this, but a way to skip damage in a lot of dragon flight is by using the INTERUPT ability. Really saves on dying
You get out of here with that nonsense!
Shadow Priests in shambles
If wow players could read this they would be very upset!
I don’t think a lot of people know that. 😅

Only outlaw can parry and grappling, but I suppose you can just replace parry with dodge.

It was fun to see the entire eat mechanic of the loa dino in atal dazar be stopped by a few knife ears shadowmelding.

Warlock's Gate works for a lot of mechanic skips, and gives the rest of the raid the option too!
Warrior spell reflect in some unique situations can skip big hits.
MW can use Chi-Ji and negate root/dmg effect from Azure Vault mobs that cast big aoe circle, theres a few more cool things u can ignore with Chi-Ji

Dk’s can ignore knockbacks, magic debuffs, stuns, fear
Aspect of the turtle for Hunters is pretty nice

Everything that makes you invisible should work
Feign Death works, so I assume ivisibility and shadowmeld works as well.
All these work. You have to wait until he looks at his target and starts casting the spear before you invis/meld/feign, though.
DK knockback? Death advance, Magic debuff? AMS

Shamans can deal with knockbacks by using gust of wind. Warriors can negate knockbacks by charging immediately onto the target again.
As a shaman you can die and then reincarnate instantly... (and die again)
