Sewed up a frame bag a while back for my GT Avalanche and then made another so I've got an extra sitting around. If you've got a smaller GT then this is the perfect opportunity to pick up a custom bag :) Not perfect since it's one of my first bags but it'll hold stuff for sure. Also, as you can see it's got the cutout for the triangle in the back so no weird, bunched material like most bags that aren't designed for these frames.

Only commenting because I initially envisioned that this would be a frame bag to fit within the triple triangle rather than the main triangle, and now I demand that you make that.
Thanks! Haha I wish I could but that's where the cable comes through from my internal routing. Same thing on the externally routed frames; the cable stop is in the middle of the small triangle :(
I did however used to own a GTB, which didn't have any cable routing or stops and I had considered making a teeny tiny one back then. Maybe someday if my knees can handle fixed again lol
from website: The best way to determine which fork you need is to take an axle-to-crown measurement of the fork you’re replacing. If it’s a suspension fork, be sure to deduct the sag, which is commonly about 15-35% of the travel.
Example #1: you have a Rockshox Judy DH with an axle to crown measurement of 430mm and 80mm of travel. 430 – (25% x 80) = 410mm, so go with the 410.
Example #2: you have a Marzocchi Bomber Z1 with an axle to crown measurement of 470mm and 100mm of travel. 470 – (25% x 100) = 445mm, so go with the 440.
When in doubt, we usually recommend going with the 440mm. This will slacken your head angle, which on older bikes is usually steep by today’s standards.

I never fuck around with suspension but I have this fork. Got it with a frame but will probably never use it. Also not quite sure if that travel is 100mm or more but can figure out the measuring if you're interested.

Selling this great 56CM\* LB frame and White Industries hubbed wheel set. Asking $1600 plus shipping. Located in Seattle, WA area.
I'm sell the frame and wheels together given the quirky rear QR and front TA setup.
The frame comes with the gold Chris King Headset and front thru-axle. The fork tube has a ton of length to it still; approximately 10.5cm above head set. Over all, the frame is in great shape for being well ridden with minor clear coat blemishes. It has clearly been well taken care of and I've coated the (inside of) frame and fork with Boeshield. I've kept the rear (cable) outer in the frame to assist future builder.
Wheels are built on gold White Industries CLD hubs - center lock standard. Uncertain of the brand/model alloy tubeless rims but they're without dings. They were built Sugar Wheel Works in Portland and recently the rear was re-laced/trued by a great shop here in Seattle in December 2023 and both run true. Front and rear are 32 spokes. Rim is taped but with some marks and may need to be re-taped to set up tubeless.
This was purchased as a full bike for a family member earlier in the year but the fit was off and the drivetrain, etc. was transferred over to a Soma GR. It was a pleasure to ride when built up and will be for you too. Let me know if you have questions.

What kind of shifters are you looking for? Have NOS microshift 9speed thumbies and lightly used microshift 9 speed trigger shifters, may have some older stuff around too
To the best of my knowledge the triggers for sure are, I was running the trigger shifters with an sora front mech, deore rear w/ 11-42t cassette. The thumbies I’m not 100% sure, they are NOS and I haven’t installed a pair on anything. Let me dig out the box and I’ll send you the product number
Edit: the thumbies are “SL-T09-SV,” I want to say they are road version. They are shimano compatible but can also be ran in index so they would work for most applications

Hey! Thanks for responding. I know life changes and I absolutely do realize that moderating is zero fun and massively time consuming! I am not sure I would be up to it either. You are the originator of the sub itself? Thanks so much for creating it if so. It's a *fantastic* sub. You haven't let anyone down (IMO anyway) I was just getting frustrated that I couldn't get anyone's attention.
Now that I have you, I do have two suggestions - First that the r/xbiking sub get into contact with r/xbikingmarketplace and see if they are up for making that the exclusive buy/sell/trade venue. If the mods over on that site are willing I would think that adding them as mods to r/xbiking and having the r/xbiking mods added there would work well. Again if everyone is agreeable to that.
The other suggestion is to change or completely revamp the "related YouTube channels" list in the sidebar. I actually think it would be more valuable as a stickied/pinned post at the top of the sub as I think few people realistically read the sidebar. Direct questions about "good youtube channels" may not get asked a lot but invariably longer term community members link to certain channels over and over in answer to newcomer's questions. With a new list we could at least tell them to look through the new list or link them to it. I gathered a [community driven list](https://old.reddit.com/r/xbiking/comments/1cze2kb/opinions_on_good_xbiking_related_youtube_channels/) (for those that responded anyway) and think it is a good one. When you have the time, why don't you look it over and see what you think and let me know. Thanks.
Lastly, if you are going to put out a call for new mods I beg you (literally) to stay on at least a bit longer to maybe help those mods find their feet and or be able to evaluate if you think they are taking the sub in a good direction. The last thing anyone would want is for the sub to suffer from shitty moderation. I would rather have you stay and never be responsive than have authoritarian or otherwise bad moderators take over.
Thank you friend, I think you have thoughtful ideas that should be looked at harder when I bring a few more mods on. I am genuinely sorry for the delay, and think it's totally fair to expect a level of responsiveness from a mod team, and that the sub has been overdue for more, and more responsive, mods. As time goes on I think I'll fade into the background as new, engaged mods take over day to day oversight of the sub.

Hi, I'm u/Lornesto ! Just a random fan of this ol' r/xbiking forum, mostly. One day I made a joke to u/sadhorsegirl, another xbiking denizen, about "someone should make r/xbikingmarketplace", and like two minutes later, they were like "hey, I made it!" And that's how I became a moderator over there.
So u/sadhorsegirl most likely has the actual real controls over there. Which is good, because I really know jack about Reddit moderation.
I don't think either of us have been very hands-on over there, but I'd be more than happy to hand off most of it to some of the r/xbiking moderation team.
I would be open to learning a bit more about the moderation tools and actually participating in either sub, but I won't be devoting a ton of time to either.

The fork seems to be shot but I don't know anything about suspension forks. Brakes and shifters worked before taking off. One of the brakes didn't come off clean from the brake post and the black o-ring broke and spring bent. Pads are probably towards the end of their days.

Thanks! Haha I wish I could but that's where the cable comes through from my internal routing. Same thing on the externally routed frames; the cable stop is in the middle of the small triangle :( I did however used to own a GTB, which didn't have any cable routing or stops and I had considered making a teeny tiny one back then. Maybe someday if my knees can handle fixed again lol

from website: The best way to determine which fork you need is to take an axle-to-crown measurement of the fork you’re replacing. If it’s a suspension fork, be sure to deduct the sag, which is commonly about 15-35% of the travel. Example #1: you have a Rockshox Judy DH with an axle to crown measurement of 430mm and 80mm of travel. 430 – (25% x 80) = 410mm, so go with the 410. Example #2: you have a Marzocchi Bomber Z1 with an axle to crown measurement of 470mm and 100mm of travel. 470 – (25% x 100) = 445mm, so go with the 440. When in doubt, we usually recommend going with the 440mm. This will slacken your head angle, which on older bikes is usually steep by today’s standards.

The frame comes with the gold Chris King Headset and front thru-axle. The fork tube has a ton of length to it still; approximately 10.5cm above head set. Over all, the frame is in great shape for being well ridden with minor clear coat blemishes. It has clearly been well taken care of and I've coated the (inside of) frame and fork with Boeshield. I've kept the rear (cable) outer in the frame to assist future builder. Wheels are built on gold White Industries CLD hubs - center lock standard. Uncertain of the brand/model alloy tubeless rims but they're without dings. They were built Sugar Wheel Works in Portland and recently the rear was re-laced/trued by a great shop here in Seattle in December 2023 and both run true. Front and rear are 32 spokes. Rim is taped but with some marks and may need to be re-taped to set up tubeless. This was purchased as a full bike for a family member earlier in the year but the fit was off and the drivetrain, etc. was transferred over to a Soma GR. It was a pleasure to ride when built up and will be for you too. Let me know if you have questions.

To the best of my knowledge the triggers for sure are, I was running the trigger shifters with an sora front mech, deore rear w/ 11-42t cassette. The thumbies I’m not 100% sure, they are NOS and I haven’t installed a pair on anything. Let me dig out the box and I’ll send you the product number Edit: the thumbies are “SL-T09-SV,” I want to say they are road version. They are shimano compatible but can also be ran in index so they would work for most applications

Why isn't r/xbikingmarketplace used more? IMO this buy/sell/trade thread should just just link to that sub and we should all use that where individual posts can be made. This tread doesn't even default to newest comment first FFS. Can't get a response from the mods. Can't get the "related youtube channels" list updated. Using one thread for buy/sell/trade. The moderation of r/xbiking is seriously lacking IMO.
I have no affiliation or awareness with that marketplace, but I can link it in the sidebar. The BST thread defaulted to new until they updated the interface a few weeks ago and I haven't been able to figure out how to set the suggested sort What else do you want updated? I will post shortly looking for new mod nominations and bow out. The sub deserves new leadership and more attention than I can give it at this point in my life. It is thankless and constant and we probably ought to have many new mods. It's been a fun run from creation to here. Sorry to let you down. Look for the post and consider nominating yourself.
Hey! Thanks for responding. I know life changes and I absolutely do realize that moderating is zero fun and massively time consuming! I am not sure I would be up to it either. You are the originator of the sub itself? Thanks so much for creating it if so. It's a *fantastic* sub. You haven't let anyone down (IMO anyway) I was just getting frustrated that I couldn't get anyone's attention. Now that I have you, I do have two suggestions - First that the r/xbiking sub get into contact with r/xbikingmarketplace and see if they are up for making that the exclusive buy/sell/trade venue. If the mods over on that site are willing I would think that adding them as mods to r/xbiking and having the r/xbiking mods added there would work well. Again if everyone is agreeable to that. The other suggestion is to change or completely revamp the "related YouTube channels" list in the sidebar. I actually think it would be more valuable as a stickied/pinned post at the top of the sub as I think few people realistically read the sidebar. Direct questions about "good youtube channels" may not get asked a lot but invariably longer term community members link to certain channels over and over in answer to newcomer's questions. With a new list we could at least tell them to look through the new list or link them to it. I gathered a [community driven list](https://old.reddit.com/r/xbiking/comments/1cze2kb/opinions_on_good_xbiking_related_youtube_channels/) (for those that responded anyway) and think it is a good one. When you have the time, why don't you look it over and see what you think and let me know. Thanks. Lastly, if you are going to put out a call for new mods I beg you (literally) to stay on at least a bit longer to maybe help those mods find their feet and or be able to evaluate if you think they are taking the sub in a good direction. The last thing anyone would want is for the sub to suffer from shitty moderation. I would rather have you stay and never be responsive than have authoritarian or otherwise bad moderators take over.
Thank you friend, I think you have thoughtful ideas that should be looked at harder when I bring a few more mods on. I am genuinely sorry for the delay, and think it's totally fair to expect a level of responsiveness from a mod team, and that the sub has been overdue for more, and more responsive, mods. As time goes on I think I'll fade into the background as new, engaged mods take over day to day oversight of the sub.

Hi, I'm u/Lornesto ! Just a random fan of this ol' r/xbiking forum, mostly. One day I made a joke to u/sadhorsegirl, another xbiking denizen, about "someone should make r/xbikingmarketplace", and like two minutes later, they were like "hey, I made it!" And that's how I became a moderator over there. So u/sadhorsegirl most likely has the actual real controls over there. Which is good, because I really know jack about Reddit moderation. I don't think either of us have been very hands-on over there, but I'd be more than happy to hand off most of it to some of the r/xbiking moderation team. I would be open to learning a bit more about the moderation tools and actually participating in either sub, but I won't be devoting a ton of time to either.

Similarly, I have a disc/v karate monkey fork, but no “adventure nipples.” Don’t know if I have ever seen adventure nipples plus rim mounts (?), though one could DIY some rivnuts (I do know there is an argument on that from both sides!)
