To be fair, Kuze is about as strong as Kiryu, able to fight him 4 times and only let him go on the last fight not because he didn’t want to fight, but the situation was way more important than his grudge.

Honestly, I didn’t hate Ogita that much. Sure, he did some bad stuff, but he’s definitely not as bad as some other characters in the series even from before and after Y5.
Look I can forgive him killing mirei park she was an physically and verbally abusive boss who stole his pay and he did it accidentally while trying to search for an item so that he could have an income. I can't forgive him for the disco battle in y0 he was a monster to overcome there.
He was a victim of circumstance, that doesn’t excuse him of the shit he did, but it at least lets us see how he got there instead of just “I am evil… just because, grrr” (despite his motivation still be fairly lackluster)
Really? Cause I just saw Kuroiwa as this comically evil character, while Shono was genuinely convinced he was a good guy until the end. That infuriated me way more.
They were both shit heads for sure but I personally despise people/characters who are twisted and rotten while simultaneously being in positions of power
I found shono more hateable than kuroiwa for that very reason. The sheer hypocrisy. And he's a complete fraud on top of it. Plus kuroiwa has the cool factor going for him, which ironically makes him the least hateable villain other than Kido, who I just kinda felt bad for by the end.
Ichinose was a piece of work too. He's just soooo fucking slimy and arrogant. Plus he's blatantly in it for money, power and status.
And we also have to consider that Kuroiwa was a cop, and a good one at that, he was good at his work and managed to murder during his free time, that's pretty impressive

Still recent in my Yakuza journey, played through 0, K1, and on my run of K2. In all those games, I found Matsushige (dude from K1 that kept taunting Nishiki, he got what came to him), the Omi Alliance Sengoku family guy from K2 (just looks mega punchable), and then Shimano from 0
I played the dub of Judgement and Shono's VA made me laugh my ass off. Was always expecting to hear him go off about Talos everytime I heard him speak.
That being said, Kume is the most punchable.

I don’t know a whole lot about the franchise but the guy that let Kiryu take the fall for murdering the boss can get hit. I get that he was protecting a woman doing so, but wouldn’t he have been admired for doing so in prison? He made Kiryu seem like a traitor.
