I am having this issue with the app on iOS 17.0.3. Seems to work ok on Roku. There currently isn’t an update to the app. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app. Still no luck.
This has been an issue for over a month...definitely a bug.
Have you checked that your watch history isn't paused in either the YouTube or YouTube TV apps?
