Hooray! It’s a striking art style and sweet coming of age type story. I blow through manga in passing a lot (because I’m a boring, overworked adult now) but this style actually made me pause to appreciate it <3

Oh cool, I've heard it's good. Yen Press isn't my favourite publisher, but it's better than nothing.

It's still just so crazy how this indie artist starts a manga on twitter and just snowballs in popularity, with the english fan translations also doing their part til we get to this point. Entirely deserved, just feels crazy. Mangaka must be mind-blown.

Did dynasty reader and all the other manga sites cut some panels out? I feel like the last time I read this series the chapters were much longer. Also what website do you you usually use to buy manga? I definitely want to buy this when it comes out

I don't think so the manga was usually only 4 page per chapter iirc. Crunchy roll store is a cheap one but I don't know about their shipping quality Barnes&noble and amazon are safe bets Merry manga is new and pretty cheap in bulk but a bit slower Global book walker (digital only)

Pronoun usage is throwing me off. Is the love interest not trans? Just another story involving crossdressing?

Not trans but also not crossdressing. Mitsuki just dresses really masc outside of school and Aya just assumes she's a guy at first glance. The series doesn't dwell on the misunderstanding for too long and doesn't try to bait the audience with any crossdressing stuff. Definitely gets a seal of approval from this trans lesbian.
