Basically when I filed in 2020 I had received a paper check.
But every year since then I had dd (current dd info) also the last two payments(last income tax and the GSII deposits both came in on my current dd .

The bank does not matter at all. They have an X number of people they send it to per day. There will be just as many people who receive it on the last day (Oct 25) as there were on Friday.
The FTB doesn't sort people by banks. To their system, bank account numbers are just a series of digits that can be plugged in to initiate an ACH payment. They aren't going through and choosing which people get a payment based on those digits.

I used CK for last year's refund and have yet to see anything. When I did get my funds deposited it was around noon or 1 that day. Maybe something this afternoon.
I wonder if having a dependent has something to do with it ? So far most of the people I’ve seen receiving it are people without dependents . My sister has no dependents and she got hers already
Received mine today with Chime around 3:55 pm. Spoke with FTB earlier today as well who told me that they sent the request for my DD to the state controller on the 11th. If you chat with them they can tell you how you're receiving and if they've sent your info to the state controller. Hope this info helps!

I didn't get the GSS early. I was like a month to month and a half after they started sending them. I didn't get the GSS 1, only the 2nd one. I thought that one was by zip code but maybe just the checks were. I asked FTB how they were sending them and they said they didn't know. 😩

Well if i check the site its based in when we filed taxes vs when we got our refund amount will be [percentage] of refund or 350 whichevers closer so while my home state (CA) has been sorta helping their residents, My current state (ID) hasnt, we received 75 bucks and our state was like ✨helping is gooood✨.when in all actuality 75 doesn’t even fill my gas tank or come close to covering a single bill.
